These small woodland birds were filmed as they perched and foraged near a small freshwater creek which flows into Gardiners Creek in suburban parkland in Melbourne, Australia.
Gardiners Creek is also known as the Kooyong Koot waterway.
A Grey Fantail (Rhipidura albiscapa), a White-Browed Scrubwren (Sericornis frontalis), and a Scarlet Robin (Petroica boodang) are seen in this video. The Grey Fantail and the Scarlet Robin are seasonal Autumn migrants to this parkland. The White-Browed Scrubwren is a resident which requires habitat with dense thickets of low story shrubbery.
