A lovely, modest man with great humour and sense of fun. He frequented our local Kings Head pub/restaurant and had his own seat at the bar. Very much missed.

This was my very first record I bought aged 13 years old, I am now 70 and I still love this tune from the guitar playing to the drum solo, it certainly gets your feet tapping.

The Shadows is good because of Hank Marvin. He knows how to bring out the music with his guitar playing together with his skills in using the equipment to produce the unique sound of the Shadows.

You might be thinking of Theme For Young Lovers that the Shadows used to play but it was much slower as it was a romantic tune. A few notes sound the same.

What I can't understand is that there seems to be a Fender Jaguar behind Jet which is what he used detuned on the original recording. So why did he not use that? But it's an off the cuff recording at Shadowmania, so we don't expect studio quality
