In the late 50s I decided that I would make a film documentary around Hong Kong with my modest Bolex C8 movie camera. The film used was Kodachrome, which had a speed of only ASA 25. My good friend Kathy Huber came along with me on 2 of these very enjoyable sessions, we drove all over the island and the New Territories. It is incredible how things have changed since. This is part one of a short two-part documentary transferred to video. It's good to know that this film has not lost any of it's colour in 60 years. My apologies for the low resolution, mostly due to the extremely small frame size of 8mm movies.
