One of my top, favorite scenes out of all the films I've ever seen. I could watch this all day and listen to this same music all day too. Living in Manhattan I've talked to Pacino twice, one of them was a couple years ago; he's quite a character and full of charisma and energy, he does not disappoint!

Out of all of Al Pacino's performances, this has to be the most badass scene he's ever done. There's nothing like a blind veteran dancing a Carlos Gardel tango with a lovely young woman. It absolutely exudes chivalry and class. 💃

When I was a kid I struggled with reading but loved being spontaneous and making people laugh in drama class and doing impersonations to people to make them laugh!! Just wish I had the balls to go in to acting!

The really spectacular piece of acting here was HERS. She totally sold the idea that she'd never danced a tango before, while we know she'd been rehearsing and taking lessons for weeks. The blend of skill and innocence is mesmerizing. BRILLIANT!

Such a great actor! Everybody knows he can see in real life but he plays the best looking blind man, like if I didn't know who Al Pacino was and they said he was blind in real-life I would believe it just based on his performance in this whole movie. He even has the look down pat

I remember when I was 18 and try to learn tango, my instructor said "Tango is the simplest dance but also the most complicated dance, You don't really need to learn how to tango, all you need is for the man to be able to lead and the woman to do what the lead set out to do" Probably this is why this scene was so good, you don't rehearse tango most of the time, Tango is about passion and spontaneous, Al Pacino no doubt is a strong character Anwar was quick on her feet and able to catch up, that's why this scene is so magical.

A very romantic tango dancer like Al Pacino inspires a lot of fans viewing the dance with a very pretty young lady. Despite his being blind in the Scent of a Woman he could make perfect timing proper steps. Al is my lifetime idol 😂❣️ though he's no longer active in any showbiz. What I like about that scene is that Gabrielle Anwar seems to be genuinely interested in Al Pacino. This is not one of those movie scenes where two actors look like they are performing parts. There is genuine on-screen chemistry there.

Scarface truly captivated me, and is now my favourite film of all time. It was actually that which got me to watch some more of Pacino- Scent of a Woman included. Heat, with Robert DeNiro, is also very good and Pacino’s performance is, of course, brilliant.

Years ago I had a ballroom dance teacher, Mr. William Ersser of San Diego, who would put on a blindfold and starting at one corner of the dance floor, cover the entire floor, including each corner, leading his wife Vivienne through an entire routine. Masterful!
