This happened to me a few times. I didn't get treated until other symptoms started happening such as paranoia and anxiety. Fear during a hallucinations was so natural to me I didn't even think anything of it. Now my symptoms are so bad I can't function in public spaces without, a comfort person, headphones and occasionally my stuffy (but even that is only temporary with mounting stress) I'm currently seeking treatment but it's expensive without a job to get it.

My mumma had schizophrenia. She would sit around talking to people all day. Mostly like the fifth last video, where you seem to just be gossiping and laughing with someone.. but sometimes they would be awfully persecutory and she couldn’t even tell if i was real. She died when i was 16 because of complications with her injections and an eventual pulmonary embolism. I truly do believe a support system is necessary for anyone with a mental illness but especially schizophrenic/psychotic disorders because people slip away so quickly. I was my mothers only emotional support, most if not all her family said “oh shes putting it on, for attention” … i wish more people were educated around this illness. Im sorry you go through this but you have found fantastic ways to help yourself keep track of things. Youre a great inspiration and your content is amazing to help educate people about what different kinds of schizophrenic symptoms can look like.

I’ve noticed this with you and other schizophrenic people who have similar hallucinations, you don’t always seem to treat the hallucination as an intruder, even when they’re bothering you sometimes, do they feel like they’re meant to be there before you realise they aren’t real? You don’t have to answer of course, it’s just something I’ve noticed. My aunt has schizophrenia too and treats a lot of her hallucinations like they’ve always been there.

He is pretty responsive on tiktok and you can find a lot of tidbits about his symptoms and advice there. it very interesting!

I think it depends on how often it happens. For me my most recent recurring one causes me to want to run away. It's just the sound of loud foot steps but it's so intimidating as they are rushing at you with an unseen presence. Recently though I've started to get accustomed to it though it still scares me sometimes.

I feel like it could be similar to when people are dreaming. I'm one of those dreamers who don't realize it's a dream. A few times in my dreams, I realized that I could be dreaming and did the old pinching myself trick but I didn't wake up and my cheek or wherever I pinched hurt so in my dream I decided that it wasn't a dream and was surprised to wake up from it lol

My dad and I saw the movie A Brilliant Mind in the theater. The famous, real life schizophrenic professor would ask colleagues if they could see someone too, to know if they were real (way before cell phones). When the movie ended the entire theater audience was silent for about 10 seconds, then we all rose to our feet as one and clapped for about 5 minutes. Fast forward 10 years, my sister after the birth of her 4th son became schizophrenic. She’s a kind, gentle soul. She can no longer work as a school teacher.

My question is when you have these hallucinations don’t you realize that you don’t recognize the people in your house right away and freak out? It’s seems like you take a bit to realize. Do you have any idea why that happens? I’m just curious bc I suffer from paranoia’s personality disorder and I’m a recovering addict. I have gone into drug induced psychosis so many times and have almost died multiple times. I’ve seen people chasing me trying to kill me, I actually got hit by a car on the highway running from nobody. I have permanent damage now to my mind and I’ve never been the same. My baseline paranoia is much higher then it ever was before and the delusions still come and go. No visual or auditory hallucinations without the drug use though. Thank you for making this content man. Your an amazingly brave person to deal with this so often and still have the amazing attitude

Our inner peace is a place where one could find a shelter from the outside world and without this inner space we are naked, alone and extremely vulnerable. We, as a non-schizophrenic persons, this inner peaceful space, where no hostile voices could penetrate and invade it, we take it for granted. But i can imagine what's like for a person with a certain condition to constantly question the surrounding and the people around you, always looking through the window, taking calls from non-existing persons, spending your days learning to live with these extraordinary, and for most of the people, unbearable situations. And for that you have my deepest and sincere sympathies. :) I'm a nurse and 21 years addicted to opiates, currently on methadone since 2012. I know about the unbearable pain the human body and mind are capable to endure. Both conditions - mine and yours - are different, but still i can relate. So, please, carry on with the videos, they are very educational and interesting.

As a person who hasn't been diagnosed with anything but has paranoia episodes about people/beings in my home, that's terrifying. The feeling of sensing someone standing next to your bed at night or in the dark hallway or just out of your sight is something truly unsettling and I can't even imagine what it must be like to actually SEE someone there. I've also had some visual and acoustic hallucinations but those are very rare. Edit: This video really set my paranoia off like nothing has ever before. Something that confuses me is if you're in your office or at home and you see/hear a hallucination, sometimes you seem fully aware they're a hallucination, other times you've no idea. Does your mind sometimes forget who realistically should and shouldn't be in those areas? Just curious on how your brain rationalises a complete stranger in your house being normal and not immediately noticing "Oh, wait, you're not supposed to be here so you're not real"

Back when I was religious, there was a guy in the church with SEVERE paranoid schizophrenia, which I didn't know about until he became convinced that I was plotting to kill him. I had to cut off all contact with him because he was becoming a threat. A woman in the church thought it was funny to tease him about his condition, even going so far as to pretend to "see" the things he claimed to be in the room (or car) with him. When he started to freak out because of what she was saying, she'd burst out laughing. She was a piece of S.

Only time I have ever experienced any true hallucinations was when I had a bad case of pneumonia, my oxygen was so low I was talking to people and objects that weren't even there. For example, I was talking to this mad scientist looking guy, very cartoony with this big chin, bald, the top of his head came to a point, he wore this lab coat and was all in my face. There was another where I was talking to a floating Etch-A-Sketch. After that I don't remember much other than going to the hospital. My mother stayed with me and she said I was seeing tiny children dancing in a circle around me at times. That was not a fun time to say the least.

Subbed. Thanks for the content. To preface this comment, I am far from a superstitious person. I don't believe in ghosts, spirituality, religion, etc. Which is why this is so unsettling. When I see a paranormal video, for example, and someone "hears" a ghost or talks to them I believe it's all staged or there's a scientific explanation, etc. It's not scary or interesting to me; it might as well be a movie. But in your case, the fear is real. The hallucinations are real (hallucinations) and you're actually seeing/hearing someone. I find it fascinating but also feel for you. That would be extremely stressful. I assume over time you kind of adapt and what's scary to me is just another Tuesday for you. It seems like while it stresses you out you also know what's going on most of the time, what to use for a bullshit detector (catch an object, ask Luna to greet, etc). Stay strong man, and good on you for turning your situation into educational content. Much love.

@@kyla6538 that's what is so weird, I'm always on KZitem but I never have had a problem with KZitem, I started going on TikTok and a few months later I noticed that there's impressions of the TikTok screen on my phones screen. Like right now, I'm typing this comment and the comment box is white so to the right of where I'm typing I can see a faint red heart, above that is a circle. It is what you see when you are on TikTok, the circle is where the person's profile picture would be, the heart is directly below it where you heart the video. It's just always faintly visible on my phone screen and 10000% more noticable if I'm on something where my screen is white. I also have a box on the screen, the shape of a TikTok video, that is a few shades darker than the rest of my screen. Apparently this can happen on phones, where a impression from a website or app is permanently burned into your screen and you can't make it go away. I've seen a bunch of other people get it from TikTok but technically it can happen from anything, especially if you have your brightness up all the way on your phone....thing is, I've had so many phones and most of the time my brightness is all the way up because my vision sucks and it's easier for me to see and read if my brightness is up and I've never had this happen on any of my other phones. Of course it happened a few days after my one year warranty on my phone ended🤦 right now it's not too bad, I don't notice it too much unless I'm looking at something with a white background lol but basically every part of the screen that you see when watching a TikTok, is just burned into my phone screen forever😂

Meaning I would expect a person to go "that's hallucination" straight a way cause "I don't know who is that" and he is in my room or I suppose you have a feeling that it is someone you know just visiting 💮 Thanks for answering if there someone to give me an idea

Have you ever tried to physically confront your hallucinations, or tell them that they aren’t real, or tried to walk through one? I’m a very confrontational person sometimes, I feel like I would have responded to a lot of these situations with anger and aggression, just wondering how well or poorly that reaction would work out for me if I had schizophrenia. Like would the hallucinations retaliate in some way, would they start saying meaner stuff, or show up more often, or even somehow cause physical pain? I hope these questions aren't triggering, I just really wanted to ask them because I'm curious. If I hurt you with my comment, or came off as insensitive, I sincerely apologize.

So are the hallucinations of people you know ? And if not does it scare you like can it be a random person? And do you reason with yourself like do you think oh ok that’s fake. And when you threw your bottle did the hallucination disappear? Or does the bottle go threw it? Also have you ever tried to like touch or hit your hallucinations if your confident that it probably is fake??? I’m genuinely curious. This is so interesting to me. My brother had schizophrenia and took his life back in 2014 and I’ve always wondered what it was. I personally think that it’s demonic. Not saying that your like possessed or bad. I’m saying that like I believe it’s bad spirits messing with people. (I believe in body brain dualism)
