I’ve had mine since April of last year and it has been great. I have had no issues with it. One thing I do wish it had built in or came with is a sensor to notify you the door is either open or close. Having the key on my watch is great when carrying in groceries and forgetting to unlock the lock before loading your hands up with everything.

I have done it with phone unlocked so I don’t know. Your right mine is a little crooked on the inside. Is it easy to straighten? While I agree that you want a strong enough deadbolt that your door doesn't kick in easily, I feel like spending a lot of money on locks for a house doesn't make sense. No one is sitting and picking your front door. If they want in, they're just going to crack a window. Sure, you don't want one that can be bumped open in a couple seconds, but you don't need five security pins and a difficult keyway. And if you get a smart lock without a key for backup (usually they have 9V battery terminals on the outside), then it literally can't be picked.

The problem with smart lock, is how easy can someone produce a device to hack it. There are numbers of NFC transmition intercept device, people can easily buy from ebay or amazon legally. This is how a lot of creditcard information got stolen before, encryption got better now only handful of devices you can use the same method. Similar method had also been used to copy those wireless key entry. You just need to watch out for how good or bad certain companies’ encrytion. On the other hand, if someone targeted your house they will get in one way or another, a lock really doesnt stop anyone much.
