@@Subrinadhammi wonderful work. Whenever tragedies like this occur, it’s important to not desensitize ourselves and reduce those lives down to just numbers. Your work to bring their humanity out and give them and their families a voice is truly touching and admirable. I have one question, was the family of the two men who were in the parking lot at Apple Barrel not available for an interview? My heart breaks for all these families even though I live on the other side of the country. Your sensitivity and professionalism is apparent and I’m sure this story hasn’t been easy on you, either. Unless there's something I'm missing. The limo owner took the car there to have brakes done and the shop did not do them and acted like we did. So wasn't the majority of the blame lie on the brake repair shop that falsified all the reports and never actually did any of the brake repair work?

I had first and second degree contract with almost every one of these wonderful people. I still remember where I was when I heard about it. It is so horrible to think that they were being responsible and not driving when they knew they would be drinking and this is their reward. Each one of these souls was a good person who contributed to society and had a special place in this world. It is truly devastating.

I saw an interview with her parents and they said they had to move on for the kids they had left. They had 3 other children.

Such a tragic story. They were supposed to be in a party bus not the Limo but the bus company cancelled on them last minute according to the young ladies mom. And that is why they didn’t find out about it right away as the news kept reporting it was a wedding limo. Turns out that Limo wasn’t even supposed to have been on the road, it had not passed inspection. This is just absolutely sad and tragic. Prayers to all the family of the victims specially the young children who lost their parents. 😢

This was caused by illegal practices done by Mavis in Saratoga springs. They were supposed to fix the brakes but did not. The manager of that Mavis cooperated with DA. I’m STILL Surprised he stayed out of prison! Look it up Virgil Park manager Saratoga Mavis and the whole story will come up. Horrific thing. And now Mavis is back to their old tricks!

The children wandering around the house trying to find where there parents were hiding, because they don’t understand death, the little girl climbing into her Dad’s chair and exclaiming “I can smell my Daddy” probably the most heart shattering thing I’ve ever heard of in my entire life 💔

That was not just an accident. The limo owner committed murder. He knew the car was unsafe and put them in it anyway. It became his murder weapon.

5-15 years, he should’ve at least gotten a year for every single soul that was robbed of a life that they deserved.

I've just read in the comments that the brakes needed to be fixed and the company hadn't done that! The driver shouldn't have been in court, but the head of the company should have! The driver's also a victim. Of the company he worked for.
