I like the two extra chords at the very end! One of my favourite interpretations of the Schumann concerto I've heard!

A wise person wrote to me this week . Basically they said , " Really it is unessesary to make dramatic gestures or dress in provocative clothes to say the piano and play impressively . Just dress smart and play well. " I totally understand what this person meant . This performance from this excellent virtuoso proves this well. Entrancing playing .

@fabiusgraco5296 I'm so glad Yuja Wang & Lang Lang doesn't listen to bigoted, petty comments. They've got nothing to prove to no one! And their concerts are always sold-out. So apparently, I'm not the only one that think so. Jealousy of others is a disease folks!

Missed when it premiered. Just streamed this enchanting concert! Great pleasure and joy! Robert Schumann: Piano Concerto performed by fantastic Francesco Piemontesi with WDR Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Impeccable Maestro Lionel Bringuier was so charming, loved every minute of it. Both the conductor and pianist were flattering each other with such ease, smile bringing the fabulous concerto to the end. Bravo! Thank you, WDR Klassik, for the description as well.

*Lucien*
