Today we have an exciting science experiment video! We will work around surface tension and create magic with soap bubbles and a flower made of aluminum foil. In this science experiment, we will learn about surface tension and we will learn how to make a foil bubble flower.
First, we will make a homemade soap bubble solution. You'll need water, dish soap, and a bit of glycerin or sugar to make the bubbles more resilient. Mix these ingredients thoroughly to create a solution perfect for making strong, long-lasting bubbles.
Next, we'll craft a beautiful flower using aluminum foil as shown in the video. Carefully cut and shape the foil into petals. Now place this aluminum foil flower on a bottle cap.
Now comes the exciting part! Dip your bubble wand into the soap solution and blow a bubble directly onto the aluminum flower. Watch in awe as all the petals rise and cling to the bubble's surface. This stunning effect occurs due to the surface tension of the soap bubble, which creates a force that pulls the lightweight aluminum petals upwards.
