Angad Miglani's talk delves into the biological foundation of happiness, exploring chemicals like oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. He emphasizes that true happiness is subjective and individually defined, sharing personal reflections on identity and the continuous process of self-discovery. The speech underscores the importance of introspection and experiencing life, comparing the ever-changing nature of happiness to an endless horizon. Angad cautions against the pursuit of pleasure without purpose and encourages embracing self-discovery for a dynamic journey rather than a static destination. Angad Miglani is a student in grade 11 at HIXS. He is highly passionate about STEM, especially the technology aspect, specifically Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He aims to practically apply the powers of AI to solve problems prevalent in the real world rather than learn it's theory.
Aside from his academic interests, he also explores his creative side in playing the drums and appreciates music as an art form. He recently cleared Trinity Grade 7 drums with distinction and hopes to do the same with Grade 8. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
