4everblue72 it's an old English folk song but is played as a quick March by quite a few regimental bands. It goes well with soldiers of the Queen. I'll be doing a clip of it this week.

thanks for reply Stuart , big part to research and know where the music comes from. I'd like to hear your take on pipe major Riddell's Crags of Tumbledown on the flute though. Maybe you've already done a video on it Stu, it'd be good to hear it. keep the faith

I'll add it to the list, I know theres a few bands who play it and its a great wee tune, leave it with me.

accordionstu thanks bud some say it's the best marching tune there is, I think it's good on the Bb even if it was originally a pipers tune, but that's what makes , for me anyway, the marching flute bands the best sound, when it's done well it's an instrument ghats can stand out alone.
