I recently bought a 2021 honda super cub C125. It had 4.6 miles on it when I bought it. Im friends with quasimotard and I want to take it on a cannonball next year.

I just watched Quasi's 21 vids and this seems like an absolute blast. Went to the website and found groms, monkeys and navi's have their own class. I have a 21 monkey and I so want to do this in 25. I love jumping on my monkey and taking off on a 250 mile round trip. I've done some 800 plus mile days on sportbikes but I just didn't enjoy it like I do my monkey trips. Great video, my wife and I just went to the black hills this summer for vacation and it is spectacular. Every hill a new awesome view!!

Well said my friend. I have done some extreme things so I get it and understand. Age and a worn out back will not likely not let me ever try this but wow would I like and enjoy the challenge and the people, everything about it.

Love your treatment of how you share how it felt to have this adventure. I think you really captured the experience. How to see you on the next Cannonball. I remember stopping when you were parked roadside on Highway 50.

Your perspective on the positive aspects of what it feels like out on the road during the Cannonball is spot on! So many of us focus on how grueling an event it is. It’s nice to watch a video that covers the question, “if it’s so hard, why do you do it?”

I was watching all of you like a school boy in Nelson, WI before you crossed the bridge into MN. I was hoping to make the run this year but had some things come up, hopefully I'll make the next one!

I really enjoyed the highlights. I stumbled across Quasimotard’s channel a week or so ago, never hearing about the scooter cannonball run. Now all these videos are popping up. I ride a Honda GoldWing and a Harley Electra Glide, but am thoroughly intrigued with the Cannonball run and am now thinking about snagging a scooter to try a new kind of biking adventure. I love the concept and can see where a new set of skills and stamina would be developed and enhanced. Why not?

I’m so jealous! I’m self employed and my busy season is from march to October. I haven’t been able to take more than 2 days off in 25+ years during those months. Last year I rode a 1209 mile iron butt on my Zuma 125. It took me 32 hours and I had a blast! I’m planning another one up to 4500 miles on my Burgman in the fall. Can’t wait!

I can totally relate. I've worked 6 days a week for years. In retrospect I can't believe I've given so much of my life to work & for very little pay off. I haven't been on a vacation in over 20 years. I've got to get ahold of my life & stop letting my life control me. I dream of open roads & endless vistas. There's so much of our country I want to see. I have a sibling in Europe who has invited me to come for a visit. I don't want to go to Europe. I want to see America! Enjoy your 4,500 mi. long haul. Perhaps I'll get to strike out on my own adventure soon.

My thoughts are if you are thinking of going on a moto tour of Europe or anywhere international you should consider 1st conquering your home. (🇺🇸)

200+. Get one that can keep up. A lot of Vespa GTS, and GT. You don't want to ride solo because you are too slow.

Did you drive your scooter to Maine to start? How did you go back home? If I did this I would really being doing it twice, as I would ride my bike to the start and home at the end. Hmm, that sounds both fun and crazy. Great video, did they do one 2022?

shipped it to the start and back from finish. $1000. not cheap. some guys that drove to the start never finished the race as they were already winded by the time it started. it's every other year. you need that long to recover.
