Terry doesn't realise how much of a top guy he is . He's so genuine and full of personality. Hope he gets to the other side of his addiction. I'm an addict myself and my dad is an alcoholic so I can relate to most that he is saying . The self doubt and lack of self worth is a nightmare mixed with addiction but Billy seems to be putting a good support network in place for him . Keep getting yourself out of the house even if it's a aimless walk for half hour . Simple things like getting out and about does wonders for mental health. Wishing you all the luck in the world on your journey pal 🍀🍀🍀

Watched a couple of these now took me a while to get me head round it technology innit.. ya know what tho my parents were heroin dealers ruined their lives and mine and my siblings I’ve got a brother and two sisters. The eldest sister was adopted out the family around the time when I Was 11 she was around four years old I am the oldest I grew up trying to hold my family together I grew up, hating authority, my own family for the fact, my sister was adopted out of the family. I have lived with this kind of guilt all of my life. Hoping she’s okay a few years ago she got in touch with me we spoke a few times. We even met once at my local pub. Whilst I was doing an open mike evening, I could hardly speak to her because of the guilt that I felt upon not being adopted. Out of the family anyway I digress sorry this shit is real I hope he finds the way out and I Applaud you Billy because this shit is absolutely real. All the very very best to both of you guys on this amazing journey.

💖 That's a lot to put on the shoulders of a child. Your sister being adopted, it really isn't your fault, at all. You should see if you can see a therapist, if you can. These things, until you have properly processed them, are very internally turbulent. Perhaps look at a kid, the same age as you were and ask yourself if you would hold that kid responsible for their families situation? Wishing you all the very best in life 💖

But that one comment pept me up and now I'm feeling 1000 times more confident. On another topic your expression has a look of frustration, anger and deadpan. Like Terry says alcohol is the worst drug of them all. As a addict and clean for 4 years I decided to give something back as we do and I volunteer in a detox centre in Manchester and the most people who came in are for alcohol related. When we go into the rooms for the first time we are scared because it just might change us for the better. Keep on going back Terry because it does work for some people. One day at a time.

Spot on pal and good on you. I did my rapid methadone detox in Prestwich last May. After being 28 years on the shite. Gave up gear and white years back , probably 12 years it was just the green handcuffs which was the worst. And pointless. Having a liquid every day just to stop a rattle from the very drug you’re taking every day 💁🏻. Insanity. Glad you’ve come out the other side and hope Terry does. He’s got a great pal there in Billy who will always be there for him from what I can tell. Now to get off the garys. Oh that’s what I meant to mention. When I did my detox last year as you said the majority in there were folk on the ale. Probably 4-1 ratio. Only 3-4 bag heads in there but about 15-17 alcoholics who tended to be on the sniff too. Needs a whole new system in place and everyone knows it. Well some are coming round after years of a “ War on Drugs”. Load of bollocks. Too much money to be made for the US Govt for starters. Most know the CIA supplied the contras in Nicaragua back in the day with arms in exchange for cocaine. Legalise the lot like Portugal and Norway I think it is who’ve both seen a MASSIVE reduction in crime, deaths and so on. Govt could tax it like ale and be quids in. Nah not for these cunts , they’ll make far more selling the drugs they’ve seized! Look at the Sackler family and Big Pharma. Brought out OxyContin and told Drs it wasn’t addictive and it was prescribed for any pain. Next thing their scripts are pulled from under their feet and they’re rattling but have no idea why they felt so bad. Eventually these people started taking heroin as cheaper than buying Oxy on street and a new type of drug addict was out there. Thousands have died. You’ve Congress with their mealy mouthed approach to Big Pharma. That’s because likes of Congress and Biden etc as shareholders of these companies. Anyway great vid and keep up the top work lads 🙏

@@leswater5065 No all props to you for getting sorted and now helping. Needs more people like you , it’s time the govt changed all the drug laws. Put some more funding in too but why would they ,, it’s just “junkies and alkys”. No , we are all people who just happen to have an addiction. Some of the most interesting and intelligent people can be addicts and are. We’re not just all scum. Imagine living in a society that drugs are illegal even cannabis. Meanwhile there’s alcohol that’s plastered over every telly advert and beyond. Madness. Legalise all drugs and there’d be a huge difference. Some big changes there though that the govt wouldn’t be competent to do. It’ll never happen but they could take a small step by legalising cannabis. Anyway my friend keep up the good work 🙏
