What do you think of Dunbar? Is there a better seaside town in Scotland? Let me know in the comments below.

I am Norwegian and have ancestry that came from Dunbar a long time ago. It seems to be a really nice little town. I hope to get there someday ❤

Fun fact: Dunny is the Australian slang word for a toilet, so I guess a Sunny Dunny would be an open air one... lol. Seriously - this looks like a nice place to visit. Love the old buildings.

Hi Ernie - thanks so much. I’ve seen photos of the open air pool. It’s a shame it’s been lost. I really appreciate your comments! 😀

I’m way too attached to St Andrews to think Dunbar comes close, but it is an interesting place.

Happy New Year. That's great you can now get down to Dunbar from Wallyford. My brother-in-law grew up in Dunbar. Thanks for sharing, especially where you can eat/drink! And yes, those waves were impressive! 👍

I've generally thought recently that Dunbar is actually now a much more interesting town than North Berwick but it really doesn't get enough attention. I enjoyed your previous video about Dunbar as well including the bridge to nowhere. I do like the main street especially the sweet/ice cream shop TBH. I went in the old town house recently as well and I got lost trying to find the old jail. It makes for a good day out combined with East Linton. I did the John Muir Way between Preston Mill and Dunbar in June before I finished up at someone's house in Dunbar.

I went to North Berwick today partly as I really wanted to climb the Law and it was well worth it. There are lots of coffee places etc in North Berwick (Steampunk, Bostock bakery etc) but the walks in Dunbar are a lot more interesting particularly the 'path' coming in from the west from the John Muir Way. So much to explore.
