from 1980s till today Scotrail Push/Pull scottish railtour as mk2f DBSO 9707 with 5 mk3 coaches and Class 47712 Lady Diana Spencer arrived into platform 7 of Glasgow Queen Street Railway Station 12:10pm.
After 20 minutes, Lady Diana Spencer departs Glasgow to Perth and the Highland Capital Inverness via Blair Atholl with the high and low horn toot.
Class 47/7 brush type 4s converted from 47/4s design for speed 100 mph and fitted with TDM push pull equipment and long range fuel tanks introduced for Edinburgh and Glasgow mainline in 1979 and replace class 27 till 1990 wearing the Intercity Executive livery with light blue line Scotrail livery. Class 47/7 carry names like Saint Mungo, Tayside Region, Duke of Edinburgh award, University of Strathclyde, Lord Provost, Sir Walter Scott, Greyfrairs Bobby, Lothian.
