Made me cry watching this. I'm not sure we could all face this challenge with the same fortitude that Scott is. Truly humbling

sometimes you think things are bad……i’m going to stop thinking that and be grateful for what i’ve got! Got a little ‘dewy’ eyed watching this!

Be grateful @andyetheridge but sweat the small stuff and live life the way it should be. We all have good days and are allow to be frustrated at the bad ones. Just keep moving forward. But be frustrated too that if you were diagnosed today and in the same position, we don’t have the necessary tools, knowledge or medicines to cure or even slow this disease down. One day we will beat it and marvel yet again at the capabilities of humans and science!

What's the difference between MND and Lou Gehrig ?
@scottstewart5591
Ай бұрын
It’s a great question @theskimaskboy and thanks for asking it… There is no difference. In the USA and other countries, the condition may be know commonly as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s. MND or Motor Neurone Disease is an umbrella term that groups several sub-types together. It is the more commonly used terminology in the UK. The most common version of MND is ALS / Lou Gehrig’s, so much of it comes down to where you live as to what you would call it. Hope that makes sense!

@@scottstewart5591 my buddy has cerebral palsy. I think of him being a trooper and all the surgeries he has had. It makes me a better person to be able to push harder for him and you. I am currently a 2 handicap but I will play a tour event before I die. And most likely will be competing at 50 on the champions tour. I am a cryer. I get emotional. And I play better golf when my senses run deep like that. When it's the back nine, you're playing good and are in the hunt, I bring myself to those feelings and everything goes quite, I get numb, mouth dry, and the focus increases magically. Thank you
