I guess I just didn’t realize how much I missed you making and restoring Old Tools until I watched this Scout crafter challenge, thanks, Joe

Well Done, Joe. They both look great! I wouldn't have thought the 3D printed handle would be that strong.

Great effort mate. I love the use of the chainsaw when things don’t go as planned. The spalting on the wood handle is beautiful.

Hi Joe, very well done! I love the hollow grind. I have a bunch of ash firewood that I have never worked up the nerve to make anything out of. You have inspired me to try! I'm a new subscriber. Best regards, Bill.

Good points, I like that simple doesn’t mean easy. I think those screwdrivers look great!

I'm up for more 3d printing action. I've been wanting one myself, John Heiz got one and made some very interesting woodworking related tools you might want to check. Great job on the screwdriver, the grind on the wood handled one looks really good, seems very simetric. Thanks for sharing and take care!!

Your screwdrivers turned out great. I saw you using 4 tools that I do not even own. The 3D printing seems very interesting. I'm sure if I got one I would use it a lot at first and then just watch it collect dust. With today's technology Items like that are obsolete the minute you get them.

Hi Joe! What an enjoyable video! Outstanding results! Your grinds look just perfect. I never gave much credence to 3D printing but I must say your handle looks absolutely fantastic and super strong! Are those shafts Stainless? Great stuff!!! 😃👍

It always ends up being 10x more tools than you think it's going to be at the start of a project.

surprised the chainsaw didn't make an appearance as a lathe tool. Good enough for a solid entry to the competition. If you're not watching/learning/trying things to push you above your skill level, then you're not getting as much growth as you can achieve.

I made a couple screwdrivers out of wood scraps left over from furniture and other shop projects. I took the blades from broken screwdrivers and just made new handles so I don’t think they qualify for Scoutcrafter s challenge. .
