This is one of the 1st episodes in which Chuck Woolery's hair grew a little longer into a mullet. This is also the 1st episode in which the challenging contestant in the Scrabble Sprint got penalized --- twice @ 17:41 and later at 18:00 --- corrected herself, and still won! Something that rarely happened in the history of "Scrabble!"

At 14:33, she had to guess for 2 reasons, 1. They can't give her the last letter. 2. The remaining letter she had was a stopper anyway.

This has to be the only time someone got hit with two :10 penalties and won the sprint.

First one was really strange. Second one was doable, but you needed enough time left on the clock.

4:50 Has anyone noticed someone saying the contestants name before the host and after she rang the buzzer? It was faint. I think someone at the back said "Sherri"

The producer does it so Chuck doesn't accidentally call the wrong contestant.

Chad! 0:02 Do you have any To Tell The Truth episodes from 1976? I am looking for the episode that aired 3/9/1976. The first guest was Bertha Soderquist, the oldest Peace Corp volunteer. Thanks! Tim

11:56: It's common for Chuck to rail on the writers for their clues, but to have somebody in the audience say something after the clue has been read for the first time...well.
