This song brings me back to when I was a teen in the 80s. We use to watch a lot of elvis movies with favorite songs like Queenie Wahine, stop where you are, jailhouse rock, teddy bear, this one, and more! I don't know why some people thought his movies were crappy, I love his movies.

However this made it through the New Zealand TV censor I'll never know, but it was my first ever view of the King when I was just 11 years old.

And I will be going to Hawaii in April. I had originally planned to go there this fall. However, for financial reasons, I pushed it up to April. I can't wait to get there!

la pelicula es PARAISO HAWAIANO y es horrorosa-como casi todas las peliculas del rey,a excepción de king creole, estrella de fuego y alguna otra que no he visto, pero la canción es estupenda, ademas la chica es muy sensual

I was looking for a version of Slim Harpo's "Scratch My Back" which I am sure Elvis could have done a masterful job on. He was one the best singers (but worst actors) in the world. He made a lot of money doing the movies with their (mostly) crappy songs. These movies and the awful songs eventually did Elvis in, artistically at least, and he let it happen. Too bad , he was a great talent, but this dross should have been beneath him. Oh well.

Beware "experts" . Massively gifted as an artist, Elvis had a chance to be a good actor, intelligent and eager, but he let the Colonel run his business, accepting without protest, crap movie scripts loaded with crappy songs that the Colonel controlled . EP collected the easy money and got lazy. He eventually took the same attitude to his recordings, refusing to rehearse or "stretch" or take criticism from producers. When he made a mistake, his musicians would purposely make a worse one, and take the blame on themselves , so they could re-record a song, and didn't have to listen to an inferior product for the next 40 years. The "Memphis Mafia" of guys paid to laugh at his jokes didn't do him any favors (I mean other than "Hey Red, get me a Coca- Cola") I think Elvis was greatly talented and a very nice guy, but not beyond artistic criticism, by a long shot. Devotees may disagree. That's OK by me.
