Thank you for the vids! Two things, 1) Have you seen the Para 3 Cruwear that is coming from Knifecenter? I have the PM2 that they released a bit ago, love it and am probably in for this 2) check the Sheffield 1282 folding utility knife. Under $6 on Amazon, I got mine for $3something at my local Walmart. Has a lock that reminds me on an axis knockoff. Been my beater for the last month. Very impressive. Keep the vids coming brother

I'm currently without a Para 3 so I'll probably try to get that one.

I’m trying this as an experiment, currently carrying a workpro utility knife in addition to my normal folder. Have you had issues with the magnet? Pulling other things out of your pocket? My Pub stays hung on my laptop bag and is my loaner knife to others who need to open packages. I really don’t think every thing needs a bottle opener 😀

I carry it on my keys mostly and pretty much nothing else in that pocket.

I love mine, used it over the weekend to open concrete bags. Opening concrete bags will DESTROY any knife blade so it was Perfect for that. I did destroy the original blade using it to "pry" open the rivet a little more to make the locking and unlocking easier one handed which made it 100% better.

Made it perfect... So I have been researching and did a small experiment, put it in the oven until the oven reached 300 degrees and pulled it out. This reduced the magnet strength to the perfect amount where it wouldn't lift my flashlight (Fenix e15) like it did before but still holds the blade in place.

Will sliding the blade in and out dull the blade due to rubbing against the blade holder?

The opening for the blade has no spring. Which means it can more easily open in my pocket. And every time I've had a liner lock, that lock has some how opened and the blade has come out. Not for me.

As an added safety feature place a wide rubber band around the knife’s carriage lock .

I found this to be awkward to handle. Two hands are needed. The big killer is the magnet. Magnets and mechanical watches do not mix.

I don't know about the magnet issue but I used the original blade to "pry" apart the rivet on the end a bit and made the locking mech. lighter and therefore MUCH easier one handed and now I love it.

I bought one of these from Amazon several years ago and it was worthless from day one. Too difficult to open/close and you cannot open with one hand. Oh yeah, after a while, it will rust really bad. The small Neodymium magnet will latch onto anything in your pocket and make removing stuff frustrating. I bought a bag of the cheap plastic retractable box cutters (for my keychain) and love those. They work so much better. Also got a keychain carabiner with two flipout blades, love it.
