Thanks a lot for this. I love how the artist tried to use a curve for the stitching on the shoulder pad but couldn't get it to look right, so they gave up and did it by hand😂 Thats so relatable! Although I probably would have tried to make it work for way too long. It is really commendable if someone has the ability to realize when something is not worth the time.

For me, zbrush would have crashed while making the brush and I’d have to go outside and do something else and forget about the sculpt entirely.

Thanks for showing this off, I do all my work in blender. I’m glad to see that even people at your level just have to fiddle with stupid diagonal straps across the chest and back.

1:44:07 incredible the speed at which you work, I didn't know about the blurred masking from far away XD, a very ingenious solution. But something that I still doubt is how you group some objects just by masking everything inside a subtool, I think you are using a shortcut for it, but I can't see it well, how do you do this?

It's 4x speed, sometime 5x, so about 9 hours of actual sculpting (plus the previous work of sketching)

Do you sculpt the full set of AG miniatures by yourself every month, or do you have a team?
@andreatarabella4202
10 күн бұрын
Hello! Yes I sculpt everything alone. It's the best approach for me to ensure the same style and quality for the whole set, not only from a design level, but also printability and paintability :) Cheers!

Do you use a wacom display tablet or just a wacom pen tablet? Or even a wacom at all?
@andreatarabella4202
10 күн бұрын
Hello! Yes I use a wacom! I work 90% of the time on a regular wacom intuous, a small one. It's more fun on the cintiq (display), but also slower, I don't often sculpt there.
