Amazing work! For me you are very relatable. I think you did very good on the head, and your details on the legs and general anatomy are very accurate. I'm currently sculpting a moose very similar to this one. Having lived around moose, and done way more research than I should have, I am very impressed with your head. I'm trying to make the head now and it is way harder than I expected. I think you would enjoy using some isopropyl alcohol to smooth! I have re-made the head 3 times, and re-done the muscles 4 times, I'm glad that there is at least 1 sculptor who is able to admit to not being perfect. Thank you!

Great stuff dude. As a wood carver Ive learned that when texturing feathers or hair on my carvings ,you always start on the back end from tail to head both bird and mammal. It will give you a natural flow to the texturing laying each hair over the last one .Same with feathers . On the legs you start at the hoof first and lay them up ward toward the body. Great stuff man .

Really nice moose. The legs are a bit short but that will allow it to graze under lower branches. As for the next sculpture I think you should do one of your dad the greatest person on earth

😄 yeah I noticed the legs were too short but it’s hard to make the legs grow. Kind of had to just go with it and make note for the next one. I could do one of my dad but I’m not sure I could do justice to such greatness.

Very nice work! I like how you show the process of a sculptor - sometimes you make, re-make, then make something again to get it right. Bravo (:

I am very impressed. I have a sculpture of an Elk I wanted to make for my husband but it’s been sitting for over a year with no legs or head because I got intimidated and walked away and haven’t come back to it. Maybe I will try again. Thanks for the inspiration.

I sculpt the eyeballs and bake them before I insert them into the sculpture. That way it doesn't get distorted as I work around it. What tools did you use for the fur texture?
