This is aweshome! I could colud never have guessed how these glasswear are made! Thank you very much for preserving this art through your videos, while letting common people like me see how these pieces are created!

Since I was 3 years old I have dreamed of glassblowing! My parents took me to Holiday World in Santa Clause, Indiana and they used to have a gift shop where you could watch them through a window making delicate glass weather swans, tiny blown glass pendants, and various other beautiful things. I was utterly fascinated to the point that I no longer cared about the amusement park rides: I only wanted to watch the glass blowers. I want so badly to learn the skills and try to practice this amazing art but I literally have no idea how to begin or what I need or anything whatsoever about it. I'm in my 30s and still just as fascinated and still dreaming of doing this someday...I have two things on my "bucket list" and it's glass blowing and seeing the Aurora Borealis in real life. Bring a glass blower was what I wanted to be when I grew up...because I had no idea how to go about it I became a welder instead. I'm such a weirdo lol

If you’re in your thirties go for it. I moved to Richmond Virginia 3 years ago. I saw an advertisement for the Glass spot where they gave lessons. I contacted the woman but she said they were on hiatus. 2 weeks ago she contacted me and I had my first lesson Sunday. It was amazing! My grandfather was a glassblower in the fourties. I still have a straw and cup he blew. Search the internet find someplace to DO it! I’m in my 60’s and it was amazing. Don’t wait another 30 years!

Wow, I really like that bowl. I found your channel compliments to the posh lady and you got a skill! And I wonder do you burn your hands? And you certainly make that look so fluid in the process. I was amazed! Thanks for sharing on KZitem. If I could afford to buy one I know where to see the incredible works of art. Wow! They sure stand out!😊

I'd love to see this video, but some friendly advice. Please don't film vertically for full format videos. I tried watching on my phone and it makes it a tiny postage stamped video that you can't even watch vertically.
