I think it's a pretty cool rig, especially since a lot of people would gut it if it came as an RTR. A little pricey, maybe. Hey Logan, since you have Axial's ear tell them to bring back the 1/10 Betty body!!! 🤘🤘🤘

Great kit, nice to see Axial making a more competitive kit again. I miss the AX10/XR10 days so, pumped to get my hands on one of these. Performs well in stock form but still tons of potential there. Too much for a slider though, maybe we will see a price drop once the initial appeal wears off? Thanks for the video!

Why aren't videos mentioning the biggest benefit of underdriving the rear instead of overdriving the front? And that's to help eliminate torque-twist(we all know the reasons for over/under gearing, I'm just talking about underdriving the rear as opposed to gearing up the front). Never overdrive the front when you can underdrive the rear. You can always gear-up(there's always bigger pinion) but have a limited number for gearing down. Did they send you the rig with the 3-link and CMS? I think it's smart to have the the SOA 4-link option...especially where the servo mounts low behind the axle tube. It's absolutely "scale" , go to any serious off-road event, and nearly every rig has full hydro mounted to the axle, hence SOA. I think the Pro is the best thing to come out of the Axial camp since the original SCX10 or even the comp-ready AX10 Scorpion ARTR.

Great rundown and glad to see they gave you a prototype you could actually drive. Says a lot about your channel and where you are at with manufacturers knowing you will put things to the test and showcase their strengths. Pro vs. the Base Camp, hmmmm. Tough question, I don't know? Not sure if one is better than the other. The Pro is awesome but for a comp build, I think you might be better off starting with the Base Camp (or even the 10ii Builders Kit). The transmission on the Pro is great but pretty big and much heavier than a typical 3-gear transmission. So, you'd probably want to change it out, which means an aftermarket skid (at minimum). Of course, you'll likely want to upgrade the chassis on the Base Camp/10ii? Honestly, I think there are pros and cons to both and ultimately, I don't think you can go wrong either way. As for the Capra, I love mine and it can be competitive but I think a rail chassis is a much better starting point. I hope that helps but probably doesn't, lol? 🤷♂️

would be funny if people upgrade this to the interceptor due to all the hype that chassis got :p but seriously, how competitive would this new axial be when pitted against a 9+ degree angled skid chassis. axial should not have been too conservative in it's design so that drivers don't throw away their chassis for better ones. i would like to try the new axles when a portal version comes out. for a newbie, this is an awesome rig to get for their first crawler

The price is laughable, for a roller chassis without wheels they should be selling this for £300 max. I could make an scx10ii including electronics perform this well for less than the asking price of the pro kit

Yes you can but it’s missing forward motor, angled skid, tunable shocks, decent shocks, real links, optional servo placement, steel axles, and underdrive. Now by the time you add that it’s clear why it costs what it does
