Oh wow! I really appreciate that coming from the manufacturer! You did a fantastic job, it’s just a wonderful kit to build. I hope you have more bodies planned in the future…??!! Cheers!

Get MoFos high steering angle axle shafts over there CVDs! There good up to 55° where as MoFos CVDs are only good to 35°! I've also ran ORCGs shafts and one came way too tight and was binding. My end points are set to about 90% and I get a tad past 45° with MoFos shafts! Excellent build my friend!!

Matter fact usually when I get everything together to build one I'm usually up till like 3 or 4 on a you know from Saturday or Friday night into Saturday morning that's my time to be able to build apps that I got to be done then why the times I don't get to test him so much takes me months to get them dial-in but I can see you like building and we definitely need somebody that can build scale rig like this

I use the front tray for the battery then mount the esc and receiver on to the rock sliders. No rear tray at all. Use the mini Komodo not the micro. It will bolt to your current motor mount. I run it with the motor spinning in the rear.

Sounds like a plan. I've done several setups like that. That's one of the things that makes each build so unique is how the internals are laid out. Not having side trays made it a bit more challenging on this FJ, but I'm super happy with the outcome!

Me, teach you... I am speechless. But I can type, so thankyou so much for that Dirk! I'm really happy with it as well, that rear bumper is so cool... & the grill from Grizzly. Hell, the whole thing is killer! How many more Toyota builds are waiting in the wings? Definitely a few more!

It’s a crap shoot coming from china. They approve a perfect sample and send you a bunch of parts with tolerance issues… nothing I haven’t come to expect with brass axles. Most all I’ve had to do something to…

I know this video is 4 months old, but what about using the steelies, but leaving out the brass weights in the two rear and spare tire to achieve the front bias that you want. Great build by the way! Thanks for the content.

I think it would be too top heavy without the rear wheels having weight in them. Don’t have any brass in that spare though for sure! Thanks for the suggestion and tuning in! Cheers!

Been meaning to ask you, what do you use to create clean lines in between the panels?
@bcochener
10 күн бұрын
@@athokala I use a water based panel liner. Apply after paint and wipe away any overslop. Seal with a clear coat. Can’t find the brand anymore, but I’m sure there are others.

@@bcochener Oh, that’s brilliant! Thanks for the reply, I’ll be implementing your tip on my WTMicro builds as well! Coincidentally, I purchased some Rust-oleum gloss clear (2x ultracover). Do you think that’ll be safe to use? I use Tamiya TS series paint on my models. Also, thank you for your time! You’re helping more than you realize.
@bcochener

@@athokala no problem. I typically use Tamiya w/ Tamiya paints, but I did use Rustolium copper and sealed it w/ Tamiya clear on my WT Willy Cab/Cheat Code build. You’ll probably be alright.👍 Cheers brother and thanks for watching and commenting!
