NECR 3476 began life as a Cotton Belt SD45 numbered SSW 9058. It served the Southern Pacific as a rebuilt SD40M-2 SP 8605, and the Union Pacific as UP 2681. It now works for the New England Central as NECR 3476. Typically seen in Vermont and Massachusetts, 3476 has been making the trip from Palmer, MA south through Connecticut in recent days.
The Willimantic Footbridge provides a great viewing platform over the yard. The Windham Town Hall also makes a great backdrop at the corner of Bridge. Street and Main Street, right next to the Willimantic Brewing Company (shout out!). These videos were taken on the afternoons of Friday, May 6th and Monday, May 16th of 2020.
