Sridevi Nrithyalaya's SATYAM - SIVAM - SUNDARAM (SSS) dance festival 2024
Sridevi Nrithyalaya has been organising an annual dance festival, SATYAM - SIVAM - SUNDARAM (SSS) since the year, 2010 and is now moving on to its 15th year. What started as a simple dance program has now grown into a grand dance festival that spans over 5 days at the end of January every year.
Dr. Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan, the Founder and Director of Sridevi Nrithyalaya says that Satyam - Sivam - Sundaram was started with the intention of paying obeisance to her great Gurus of dance, Satyam (Late Dr.Vempati Chinna Satyam - Kuchipudi), Sri M. Sundaram (Late Railway Sundaram - Bharathanatyam Acharya in Melattur style) and the Supreme, Siva - the Lord of Dance.
The foremost goal of this festival is to provide a free platform to classical dance artistes from all over the globe.
