Thank you for the library of shanties. As for most of us- Assassin’s Creed really sparked it- but this was something more special, we get to be part of the crew of the very Shantymen who shaped that experience. No matter the trends or origins- these songs helped us through the world and work. Hope future collabs and shanties go well- and someday, we will sign up for another tour and sings these songs again with you!

Thank you so much for all the shanties, Sean! Particularly the ones I had never heard before from playing the Assassin's Creed games you've contributed to. You brought much joy to myself and my friends and family who have a love for songs with the taste of the sea in them. Here's luck, as Billy Bones would have said, and I drain my glass and tip my hat to you!

You're right Edward. It was a lot of feels. I actually recorded the intro several times, but kept deleting it because it wasn't coming out right. I'm sure you can tell that there is no script and I'm just improvising. Finally I felt like this intro was ok, but I am sad.

@@SeanDagher It would've been very easy to just keep putting out shanties, but it took real courage to decide otherwise. Putting down a series is much comparable to putting down a pet; painful, but a better end than some. And I appreciate you being real with addressing your feelings about it. Once more, it took courage. I can't wait to see your inevitably greener pastures to come.

"Ye" meaning "you" is not a pseudo-archaism. Ye/you is the plural equivalent of thee/thou. Its only a pseudo-archaism when used instead of "the" (which is where the confusion with the letter thorn comes from). That said, thanks for all the weekly shanties.

Hi Gwennwys. Thank you so much for the info. That makes a lot of sense and I'm glad that you taught it to me. I only wish that I could correct it in the video, but alas, YT doesn't allow that without taking down the video and re-uploading it, so I'll have to live with my error eternalized on the internet. Much I would like to say to you Sean, bit to cut it short and not write a couple of paragraphs I'll cut ot short (we all know how much you hate when someone starts rambling on). Thank you for giving me and many others more joy with your singing during these times, I spent the better part of this year singing shanties and have had good fun listening to them, learning them, and most importantly being part of this journey. It wouldn't had been the same without you Sean, without your mustache and rambles every week this year would have been much worse. But I'll stop myself here, (when I said I wouldn't ramble, I kinda lied a bit, sorry). I also don’t believe it’s a coincidence that the previous video you uploaded was Fare Thee Well, nice touch! I look forward for what is to come next and remain excited as ever. I'm was watching with a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. Had a feeling the series would end soonish, but this still came as a surprise. Thank you so much for all you have done Seán! You have opened a window for me to a world I always had an interest in but never got around looking into it deeper. You made it so easy to approach and I learned much from watching you, things that will stay with me. Thanks, and all the best for your feature endeavours. Here's to you!
