This is a REALLY good video. In short, he shows the stator is producing the correct AC voltage, but the known-bad voltage regulator shows only 12 volts (which is battery voltage, and not voltage regulator output. Then replaces known-bad voltage regulator with known-good voltage regulator, confirms the stator is still producing the correct AC voltage (up to 40 VAX when throttle is run up), and then shows the known-good voltage regulator output is 14.3 volts (DC), which means the battery is being charged.

Check for voltage in stator first while running than voltage regulator than battery. And determine where the voltage is or is not being produced.

Check the box where your spark cables come out from . Your stator has two different coils one is to charge battery and the other is for your spark Did you change the correct coil ?
