How durable have these sparks been beating on them like this?

With proper wash down and 50 hr services they are mechanically bulletproof. The hulls are up to the abuse. The only weak point is the top console under the handlebars - which can snap on big nose stabs -but rare and cheap to replace. I have one with 360 hrs and another 220hrs

@@WildWaterHogs yea awesome to hear. Pretty keen on one, coming from motocross/enduro I need a similar fix. Im on the goldy, Qld. You recommend any local tuners or must to mods that actually make a difference? Cheers
@WildWaterHogs

@@justindavis8102 a lot of the guys I ride with are stock. I recommend worx ( on goldy). Tune, 12/14 solas prop for holeshot. Stainless steel wear ring will save you grief. Worx intake grate will improve hook up in chop and grip face of wave. Ribbon delete is cheap but not sure it does much. Leave exhaust alone - mods can let water in and no gains. Get a tow tap installed so you can tow home at full noise when needed. Tie EVERYTHING on - seat glove box, knee pads, storage lid. When you get wiped out in a big swell it’s like a lego set

@@WildWaterHogs Thats some awesome advice mate. I thought prop and tune seemed the go to mods. Intake grate is one i didnt think of. Think that kills top end a bit? Ive heard of a tap/valve/clamp needed if your being towed? Cheers mate

Please do a video teaching how to do all these tricks! And how to ride in the surf in general.

It’s trial and error. We have been at it for years and still learn more each ride. Some suggestions - never ride surf alone - must have a wingman, who will come and get you. - have a tow rope. - wear a FF helmet - as once you are off a tumbling ski is a weapon. - tie everything on, knee pads, glove box lids, storage lid, seat. - don’t land ski flat, land nose or tail 1st to break water surface tension. -when you come of get ocean side of ski asap, don’t get between ski and the beach. -for 180 jumps, don’t stand up -feels weird but lowering your centre of gravity helps balance landing. -don’t let go of ski best to hang on much harder to get hurt while attached to ski. Have fun
