In this second video of using Dupli Color Engine Spray I found success!!! I followed the recommendation of a gentleman at the auto parts store who owns his own body and paint auto shop, he recommended that I heat cure the tiles either in a toaster oven or putting them outside in the sun, which is the one thing I did differently from part one of the series of product reviews.
I’m going to show you step-by-step how you can successfully seal tile coasters and get a super shiny look to them without using epoxy resin. I bought this product at my local auto parts store and I believe it was about $10.
I painted a set of four tiles and allowed them to cure for a little over two weeks before trying this sealer.
In the video I mentioned that someone in my paint groups recommended that once the tiles have been sprayed they should be cured an additional two weeks so they won’t stick, I did not find this to be necessary. However I highly recommend that you cure painted tiles for at least two weeks prior to spraying or sealing them in any way, that way all of the paint dries and cures as well.
I received no monies or compensation for recommending specific products or retailers within my videos.
