Utah Rockhounding Couple, Kent and Steph, make a stop at Sunstone Knoll on a wintery day to (hopefully) find some sparkly Sunstones! Join us as we learn more about this unique spot, and how to find the crystals, at this hill with an impressive view of the surrounding Great Basin.
Sunstone Knoll is a popular stop for rockhounds and easy to find off of UT-257, south of Delta. Google maps will lead you there, just make sure and cross the train tracks carefully and then head up the hill to start hunting! Parking at the top can be easily found, so it's quite easy to access the different parts of the knoll to search.
If anyone has experience finding Sunstones here, we'd love to hear about the best methods to search! Thanks for watching and sharing our love of rockhounding!
