Just did a Google on this guy. His Wikipedia is a hell of a roller coaster ride. Produced Modest Mouse's first album. And was the lead in a Disco band. This needs a movie.

Wow.. just Wow.One of my All Time Favourites written by the brilliant singer/songwriter John Hartford and made Legend by the one & only Glen Campbell. Fantastic rendition by Seasick Steve.

What a fantatic version of a great song. I just started to learn guitar but wouldn't soil this by trying to play along - that would be so wrong on so many levels! ♥️🏴

Steve, there's a man who would be so proud of the way you sing one of his favourite songs. Glen Campbell "Gentle On My Mind" by John Hartford appears on the 1968 Glen Campbell album of the same name. You sing the song like it was written by you, for you Man, I love the way you play. Cheers ! 🎵🎸

I have a feeling Steve has lived many songs! Songs of heartache and pain. Songs of love and joy and songs about the excitement of new adventures. Whatever, he does it HIS way, so thanks Mr Seasick. More power to ya!

So many covers of this song come nowhere near the great Glen Campbell’s version, but this truly does. Absolutely fantastic rendition of this brilliant song. Steve’s voice just lets you drift away, let’s your troubles ease and your mind goes off. True music from a true musician 👍🏼👍🏼
