They were trying to make Russell the qb hero I’m convinced. Pete wanted his boy to have all the glory because of the rift with ML

Why do so many people not understand that Wilson called an audible? Carroll did not call that play. Once again, Russ is to blame.

i'm confused because i seen a video of the patriots practicing that same play with Malcom butler before that game and the seahawks wait until the last drive of the last quarter to run that particular it's like they knew they was gone do that

Wilson led the receiver as if he should catch it with outstretch arms in open field in the clear so as not to break full speed stride. Instead, the pass needed to be zipped tight into the receiver's chest so nobody could intercept it. But yeah, the call itself was inexplicable. Maybe a fake to Lynch and roll-out toss to a sideline receiver, but not over the middle.

Belichick's greatest moment. Any other coach calls a time out. Maybe Paul Brown does not. Bill knew Pete was about to outthink himself.

Can’t believe Carroll is still coaching after that choke job I would never trust him again with a big moment. Owners are too nice to him he’d of been out a year or two after that Super Bowl if it was up to me.
