Magistral Tellier.

Merci. From me. And my father.14 years late. This was the last piece of music I introduced him to before he died. I played the album Today, by Superpitcher and this is the last track. All by itself, not mixed. My father said, "Hmm, that's nice. What is that?" He played this on repeat for days. He died a month later. He was 53, I was 26.

Pure genius this. Almost 8 minutes of magic! Its beauty brings a lump to my throat every time I listen to this. The melancholy piano over the funky laid-back drums and underneath it all that thick carpet of that unbelieveably funky bass. Mr Tellier, I salute you!

On t’aime Sébastien Tellier!
