The absolute best part of the show is that Intro, and clearly he didn’t like it cuz it wasn’t one of his songs. I’m sure the band was playing it to be like “hey we actually can play some decent shit.” And he comes in and shows utter disdain for his band like he does at every show. He is always blaming them for the show being shit when they are the only thing holding it together.

@mondovideostore the funny thing is, I wasn't a LB fan. I heard little bits and pieces of opinion through the years but never paid attention, really. Knew of Fred's upbringing, or what a stranger CAN know, and just whatever. Fast forward 25 years and I'm fascinated. By LB, their story, his.. lmao. I do know this. He doesn't have to do what he's doing with whom he's doing it. And it appears he's trying to let someone live their dream. From what I see, he didn't necessarily think LB fans would turn out the way they have. It's a feel good story really. And agreed on Fred's intelligence. So fast fwd 20 plus years and I caught a short with Wes opening a show and I laughed because I DIDNT know it was LB or Wes.. and the intro just f'n smokes. Right? He has the base knowledge of music to become an actual musician but he learns the bare minimum and invests all into image and performing more shows when his image is sadly derivative, and his shows suck because he hasn't learned more than a first year on any instrument. Let's not even talk about the singing lessons he needs after he learns how to actually play one of these instruments. Then he should think about touring. He has potential, but he needs to let go of this image he has of himself.

As he's ordering the guy at the board to fix it the guitarist walks over, behind Corey, and plugs Corey's guitar cable into his amp. His guitar instantly comes to life. Corey proceeds to thank the sound guy and start the song over. I don't know if this is an act or not. I'm not even sure which scenario is funnier.

Corey annouces he will be dancing less....which implies he can focus more on playing guitar Then immediately straps on guitar but realizes he cannot hear himself. He wont be able to hear how shitty he is. ... And he tells the audience he wants them to be able to hear his shitty guitar First song out is The Joke and he closes it out w his now infamous guitar solo. The comments he makes after the first song and solo FINALLY tells me what I've been wondering all along and that's this: Corey absolutely DOES NOT take HIMSELF seriously as a musician. But apparently he loves performing as the frontman of his band w whatever members he can put together. I have no idea HOW or even IF he makes money doing this , but he damn sure seems to have a blast anyway. For all the years he's been sucking at this, it amazes me to think that if he used a fraction of that time to actually learn and practice, he could pass for legit. ....
