this video is actually goated i will sing your praises forever man. after YEARS, legit like 4 years, i finally pulled curls off thanks to you. on everything i was never going to bother with sections or expensive products, but that was all anyone ever wanted to push. it felt like a psyop. i was NOT going to spend hours on this. you did it in ONE HOUR, LIVE. i need you to understand i don't think there is another video like this on all of youtube. got a haircut in january and woke up with my hair matted every day, had to detangle every day. it was ANNOYING. now i can just wake up, shake my hair a little and go... the way god intended. incredible.

Yk I hadn't noticed your livestream video, but this is really underrated. From your short content, I lowkey thought you claimed 4c hair, but I noticed your hair is a little different so I didn't trust you as much lol. But to hear you admit it's not exactly 4c is reassuring. I appreciate you man! Thanks for all the tips and amazing advice!

@itscarltonrose

First off thank you 🙏🏽! I appreciate this message bro! How short are we talking? When you pull your hair down in front of your forehead. Because you’re right at certain lengths, the way you apply gel is different.

@@itscarltonrose Wow. You’re dedicated man, I am very grateful for the speedy reply.❤️Regarding the hair, id say it’s about a 3c-4b type, at a length of just over 1 inch. So I do have curls in it, but quite a bit of frizz in some areas still, mostly the top middle and back middle.
@itscarltonrose

You're really on top of your hair game, knowing your curl type! With your hair length, you're right in the transition zone between shorter styles and longer curls. This can be a tricky stage but stick with it, bro. The goal with the gel at your length is to help reduce that frizz you're noticing. When your hair's on the shorter side like this, raking might not give you the best results. It might end up causing more frizz or not distributing the gel evenly. Instead, try smoothing the gel over your hair. Picture yourself petting a cat from head to tail - you want that kind of gentle, smooth motion. You'll still get the hold and definition from the gel without roughing up your hair's texture. Or you can apply the gel by twisting it into your hair in small sections. Give both a try and see which technique works best. And Aunt Jackie’s gel could be a game-changer at your hair length. Give it a try and see how it works for you. Keep pushing, brother, and soon enough those curls will be turning heads left and right!

@itscarltonrose

Yo, you’re absolutely right! It’s always a fine balance between getting rid of that frizz and maintaining the volume. One technique you might want to try is finger coiling; it’ll give you defined curls without sacrificing too much of that precious volume. It’s all about trial and error to find what works best for your hair, my dude!

Isaiah 32: 11-20(KJV) Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

Is it possible to do it even if your hair is type 2c? I have been trying to get the curls to pop but it doesnt happpen. Any tips I can use?
@itscarltonrose
Жыл бұрын
It would depend on your hair texture. Yes 2c can pull this off but if your texture is thinner it might not work as well. To define 2c curls I would do a bit of a different technique. My son has 2c curls too. I’m planning on making a video styling his hair and I think that will be helpful. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss it!

Hey Carlton, I'm trying to grow out my hair and i don't know whether to grow the back fully or even get s taper. I get fades and tapers and I don't know if i should grow the sides or just keep getting a fade and let it be like yours
@itscarltonrose
Жыл бұрын
Oh man, I can totally feel the dilemma you’re in. Growing out your hair comes with all these decisions, right? I say, envision the hairstyle you’re aiming for. If you’re digging the look I’ve got going on, I started by letting the top do its thing while keeping the sides tamed with a nice fade. It kind of gives you this clean yet voluminous vibe. As your hair grows, you can gradually transition into growing out the sides more if you feel like changing it up. It’s all about what makes you feel confident, my guy!

@@itscarltonrose Wow you actually typed a whole paragraph 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. I'll keep getting tapers for now maybe when I'm older or something ( My mum usually wants to get get trims so I can't go too long without a haircut lol)
@itscarltonrose
Жыл бұрын
Haha, you know, sometimes it just takes a good ol' paragraph to get all the details in there! And hey, respecting the mum's wishes, that’s solid, my guy. Tapers can absolutely work while you're figuring out your style. And who knows? As you said, as time goes on, you might find the freedom to experiment a bit more with your look. Stay true to what feels right for you, and remember, it’s all about that journey to finding what makes you feel great!
