I just bought the XL version of this chair and I love it....What these reviews never seem to mention is the sheer weight of the chair (its bloody heavy) and the fact you can set the backrest as far forward as you wish you can even set it to support your back as you lean over a desk if you want to its brilliant...I have mine pretty much straight up and down.

can you tell me about the hardness of the chair? i've been researching a lot and i am discovering that most people find it too hard, but they justify it by saying it's for the sake of posture. I read butt pain, thigh pain, lower back pain, and some also felt the lumber support was a bit hard and dug in a bit. Others were fine but not for more than a few hours.

I love my Omega 2020. This iteration addressed all of my concerns with it: 1. The pillow, which I use 90% of the time, sits too high for me when using the strap so I never attach it resulting to the pillow falling off when I get up and always have to set it aside somewhere when I’m not reclined. The magnetic pillow with the adjustable height not only completely addressed that issue, it’s also aesthetically pleasing and magnets are always so satisfying. ASMR stuff right there. Major points for that. 2. The seat. Even though I’ve gotten used to it, the sides are definitely somewhat constricting for an “all kinds of cross legged” sitter. AND it’s a major dust, dirt and hair collector. This seat addresses those completely while it allows for the same OMEGA size backseat option. 3. The lumbar support. I really wanted the Titan lumbar support on the Omega size. Now I don’t have to use a pillow for it. My only issue with this new version is it that it doesn’t have the Omega logo on it.

@@rowni Hey, not sure if you'll see this. I am on the cusp of buying the Titan Evo 2022, but I am seeing a lot of comments (and video reviews) about how the chair is like sitting on a rock or concrete. Are people just being dramatic? How "soft" is the base? I currently have a disintegrating Arozzi Torretta (the old black/red from years back) with a cracked arm rest and the metal beam sheared underneath the chair base. Out of the Maxnomics, AndaSeats, and Noblechairs of the world, the Titan 2022 is looking the best out of everything I've checked. The swappable arm rests is what's pushing me over because if it weren't for my arm rests getting a crack right down the center of the rubber and a sheared support beam, I'd probably just keep the Arozzi longer. If the Titan's rests ever cracked, a simple replacement is awesome! My Torretta was quite firm when I got it, but has broken in and become softer in the 5 years I've owned it. I did upgrade from a completely destroyed task chair that was flat as hell so the transition to the Arozzi wasn't an issue. lol The shape and soft weave fabric of the Titan is similar to the Arozzi so I figured the sitting experience will be similar to my current chair. For reference, I am a flippin' wafer at 140lbs and 5'11". Yeah yeah I am skinny a** dude. lol I also spend about 4-5 hours sitting at the end of the day after work (while also having sat for 4-5 hours on shift lol). Anyway, how has your comfort level been? I don't mind the firm-soft my current chair has and if it is at all similar, then I'll be golden.

Got 2022 Titan XL in July 2021, in Aug 4 I started conversation with secret labs support, backrest was noisy, in late October got new backrest and it was even worst, so loud! So We continued our emailing, few days back in February 18 got new backrest and its quite and great. But now they announce: "we want replaced backrests back", good thing I stored them in basement. But that's just odd, I had to hold on "broken" inventory for 5 months without telling me, that I will have to send back to them something. And last box is in the bin, so I don't even know how to send them back both in 1 box :D Also, worth mentioning - 1 arm rest come faulty, so they sent new one and I hadn't to send that faulty one back.

I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

@VMYeahVN
3 жыл бұрын
Same question. I always find myself torn between Secret Lab and Herman Miller or other more office centric ergonomic chairs. Secret Lab chairs look great and seem to be comfortable and pretty ergonomic as a gaming chair could be, but obviously most people consider the ergonomic office chairs to be superior ergonomically. However it's usually at the cost of aesthetic. Which for home use, you usually want the chair to look at least kinda nice.
@awangkuakram8371

Coming from a herman Miller to this, I prefer my hm for sitting long periods of time but out of the box I found this more comfortable.
@MikeWat
3 жыл бұрын
It depends on which areas you need support on your body when sitting and which seat you're comparing to as the SL chairs does have a few ergo features as well now. For example when I compare it to my HM embody, the seat is softer on than the SL chair, but the arm rest on SL chair is definitely better than the embody. SL has better lumbar support as well, but embody seems to have better shoulder/upper back support. So there's a lot of different areas that different chairs are better in...but keep in mind my embody chair is like 2-3x the price xD Hope that helps!

My current chair's armrests, tilt/lock function and backrest have a lot of give in them to the point you have them adjusted and they end up feeling off because they move out of that perfect position. This for me is a flaw of the cheaper chair I own so I hope Secret labs doesn't have this amount of movement in it's pieces.

I'm quite upset that this company doesn't offer a full refund if you have any issues with the chair or don't like it. How else am I supposed to know whether this chair is any if I can't try it out physically before paying for it?

That's something only people in Singapore can do at the moment. I've tried the chairs - they're nothing special.

@@IntricationZ Yeah, I've heard pretty terrible things about them. Whilst they may be slightly better than most garbage gaming chairs, they're nowhere near as good as high-end office chairs.

I've only got a crappy worn out several years old chair right now, I had a "gaming chair" earlier which was like a corsair one, and it still felt horrible and no support, lumbar was just one big pillow which sucked, and i think the chair was way too big for me.. I'm just worried about these gaming charis.. but I do really want something thats super customiseable, and supportive.. (and not $1000 like the neue chair) I struggle to sit at a desk properly.. Is this really a good chair and worth saving for?

how does it compare to the logitech herman miller that you reviewed? Which one do you recommend between the two :3

What about the chair size? Afterhand would you go for the small size of the titan...as your length is right inbetween sizes according to SL size guide.. Also...what about the armrests...is the width between them comfortable for you or would you prefer them to come closer (like in the small size version). Im 171cm and rly dont know if I should go for regular or small size. Ty for informative video. 👍

I’m the same height as you and got the regular. Personally if I would’ve tried both before hand, I would’ve went with the small. I was worried the small would be too small, but it won’t be, trust me. Get the small

I agree. I got the small cause the arms are closer and it feels better. I had the Titan and the arms where a bit too far apart for me

@@silentplayz6797 Ty for your opinion. Can you have your feet plain to the floor with regular size or is a foot rest needed?

it's painful to go a little on the edge of the seat itself? i have big legs and right now my seat is 52cm, this one (regular) is 47, any suggestion? thx

Im 167cm 55kg. Should i get S or R? I'm more interested in the R because there is more space in the seatbase. But I'm worried the head pillow can't be lowest to reach my neck because the backrest is a little higher than the S.
