But did you know each Beatle has a secret, hidden on their statue?
The statue was unveiled in 2015 after the Cavern Club owners had felt there was no one place Beatles fans could gather in Liverpool to celebrate the band. London had Abbey Road, but the narrow street of the Cavern Club didn’t feel like the best gathering spot. Now this statue of the fab 4 acts as a wonderful gathering spot for Beatles fans from around the world.
Let's take a look...
Paul McCartney carries a camera, possibly in a nod to his relationship with Linda Eastman.
John Lennon has two acorns in his cupped hand. In 1969 he and Yoko sent acorns to world leaders to encourage peace.
Ringo's secret is harder to see. You will need to get down to see under his boot for this one! You'll see the number ‘8’ printed on the sole of his boot. The ‘8’ references L8, his childhood Postcode in Liverpool.
On the belt of George Harrison's coat you can see a Mantra written in Sansrkit. It roughly translates to “The Infinite Beyond Conception, we meditate upon that Light of Wisdom, which is the Supreme Wealth of the God."

The Beatles Statue looks great day and night. You can find it on Pier Head, between the Three Graces and the Mersey Ferry Building.
