do you know how many times he has to go on a train and then wait for the next one just to do a secret?we should really respect him as much as he does to us

This video was really well done! Editing and voice-over are far beyond any other NYC based transit channel that I've ever seen. This video deserves more views, and I'd say you deserve more subscribers based on this video alone. I'll definitely be checking out some more of your videos after seeing this one! Keep up the good work!

You can't find the entrance to the Roosevelt Avenue Terminal Station Platform because it's been mostly bricked up. The only clue that something is there is the non-descript door outside of the fare control area leading to the Maintenance of Way offices, part of them built over the Rockaway bout trackway. and storage area. The station was at high level of completion, including the tile on the track walls. All it needed was the rails and signals.

I remember the "take the train to the plane🎶... the train to the plane🎶" TV ad for the JFK express... and shows the R-44-type train used for the service rolling through clouds, like an aircraft

Nice video! An extra tidbit of info about the Willets Point station on the 7/Flushing line is that station originally built as a local stop. The orginal local trackway is under the middle platform & it emerges on the north end.

BMT routes were originally numbered. The R-27 cars introduced letter markings on BMT Southern Division routes.

Nice work! I was hoping you would talk about the E-Train terminus at Jamaica Center/Parsons and Archer where the tunnel actually continues beyond the terminus an additional mile or so with the intention of extending the E-train line into the southeast queens neighborhoods of Springfield Gardens, Laurelton and Rosedale. There’s also what appears to be subway ventilation grates along Merrick Blvd and at the intersection of Springfield Blvd and Merrick. Alluding to the possibility of tunnels under Merrick Blvd. Maybe you’ll consider looking into that being the case? Just a suggestion. 😊

A correction on your JFK story. The JFK was discountinued long before the 63rd St extension was completed. The terminus was 57th - 6th Ave. Later the goverment forced the 63rd St tube extension to be completed. The tube is 2 levels, LIRR is the lower level to bring it to Grand Central Station. The 63rd St extension after 21st -Queensbridge was originally supposed to be the super express to Forest Hills as you mentioned, it was going to run along the LIRR, not in a subway tunnel. Because it was a train to nowhere is why the 63rd St extension was then connected to the Hillside Ave lines.

have you ever found out why the number 1 train was never countered to Staten Island or why the R train was stop at 95street Brylyn instead of countering to Staten island?

because Staten Island already had its own railway at the time and it was too costly to build a subway line to serve Staten Island
