Appreciate you leaving the actual sound in during the important bits. That matters to us. I enjoy using round inserts for dynamic lathe roughing.

Than you would enjoy this updated concept - much easier to index the insert because of rail interface + extra security (no riks of screw-out) + under coolant brings more tool life + extended geometry assortment for better chip control :)

I love using dynamic roughing too, especially the comments I get from operators about how cool it is to watch haha

All the time Sandvik is in top with technology. Almost all competitors are studying and making copies of Sandvik tools.

Why would i buy this instead of good old WNMG or CNMG? 🤔 I mean costs matter

Those inserts don't have enough relief to do these angles. Dynamic roughing is way easier than setting up multiple tools facing forwards and backwards to get to geometry like what's featured in this video.

Because of double metal remove rate and tool life, I suppose :) I don't even speak about cases when we deal with ISO S materials (Titanium, HRSA) - the productivity can be 3 times higher vs CNMG

@@romanplutok6202 hmm, no i guess WNMG will have higher MRR. My point is these inserts and tool will be much higher in general, so even if we consider CPC, i think this wont make any sense. Yet they are Sandvik though, they might have thought of something. It looks cool though.

I think, on metall P10-P20 the chip will so bad..

Likely not - dynamic turning provides pretty good chip control due to constantly changing depth of cut. So, if you use feedrate high enough and proper insert geometry (I would suggest -L3), than there's a high chance to get chip control you're looking for :)

Hello! In this demo we use RCMT10T3MP-M3 4425 for the roughing operation and RCMT10T3MP-L3 4425 for finishing. Hope this answers your question.

Not for small industry, I submitted online form for try, after 6 months call from Mumbai and he said you can't purchase our products.and no given sample. We are 23 years old company and use 4 turning centre. And other machines But your company attitude! Please think consumption of small and medium industry and large industries.. your attitude and management both foollish.
