Sewing down a lace wig is just more practical than using those gels and glues that will ultimately need reapplication sometimes as soon as a 24 hours period. Continuously doing this will wreak havoc on the hairline.. Lace fronts are more convenient than spending the day at the salon for a sew in!! Also, it takes effort and elbow grease to remove dried glues and gels from the lace and hairline. Need more videos on sewing down wigs.

@@DonnaMerlangehey! Do you think sewing down the wig is beneficial for your edges? Did your edges deteriorate or did they continue to look healthy when you sewed the wig? Thanks, please reply
@DonnaMerlange
Жыл бұрын
@@brownskin.babeee yes!! they continued to look healthy. very beneficial for your edges. but it’s also beneficial to take routine breaks from lace fronts. the lace itself can still thin out your hair over time. you don’t have to worry tho, it’s very subtle, and nowhere near as severe as the effects of using frontal glue. those girls i was talking about, a lot of them are now completely dependent on lace fronts since they’ve been using glue and lost their edges. i HIGHLY recommend doing cornrows and sewing it down.
