When I did that, they asked and I said “yah, I’m fine.” So fine, that I celebrated by getting stitches in my leg and x-rays that confirmed three “fine” breaks in one arm. Upper humerus, radial head, and wrist.

The way he landed on his hands is the way to get a shoulder separation. I know because I've done that twice going OTB. 3rd degree, and 1st degree separations.Very painful--but both shoulders work fine now. On the first one (3rd degree) my helmet saved me severe head injury as it was completely destroyed.

broke my big toe yesterday after a fall. kept riding another 13 miles trails, and it was first when i came home i noticed something wasn't right. I was told that the adrenaline makes you feel very little in the moment. Think you always are fine. hence why should should always ride with somebody, so they can check that you do not have any neck injures

To me that’s not a fun style of mtb. I don’t care for trying to clean dangerous stuff. I’d rather just keep it moving.

Yes crashing is a not fun style of mtb. A few of the double black diamond routes here in Sedona can be dangerous stuff.

Well, we only have one life and once it's done it's done. Some folks just want to make the most of it while they're around. Some may call it jeopardizing and some may simply call it living.

@@GalacticStuff brother, they both saw that hill and set up to record for a reason. it was a risky jump with a long way down if things started getting hairy.

@@TheyForcedMyHandLE it's called about 3 months in a cast and another 2-3 months doing road riding because your wrist needs time to strengthen up. you lose a lot of living time during those 6 months.

Pushing that envelope to death’s edge is not a way to go about life. Obviously the bike and the rider were not qualified.🤷🏼♂️
