I'm 99.99% sure that the person posting this isn't the same person who made this recording all those years ago. He's presumably posting these audiobooks so people can access them. This kind of thing used to actually cost money back before everyone felt they were entitled to everything for free. Yet I see people complaining about the recording. It's either 'I can't hear that well' or 'Sound effects? Yuck.' It's unreal how some people will ALWAYS complain, even when they're getting something for nothing.

Well ain't that the pot calling the kettle black? Quit your bitching and enjoy the story. It was litteraly one comment and they said they have hearing problems. Evedently you have brain problems.

What a great book for audio! Big ups to the voice actors, narrator and SFX team for bringing this classic to life! And Clive Barker of course! I’d love to hear the rest if it’s out there somewhere

The book is 450 pages long, do you or anyone know if this Audio book was cut for just time or was it cut for content? (Wal-Mart would insist on censored media et cetera) I think audio book manufacturers did it most often to get books onto less cassettes. Thanks for the uploads regardless, much appreciated.

Five minutes in and this is horrifying enough to wonder how it's passed censorship.

What an unusual statement. There is no censorship of horror books in the UK. Does this happen in the United States?

Unfortunately, for people like me that have hearing problems, the background noise almost washes out the voice. It's too hard for me to hear the narrator.😐 I'm sure it would have been an interesting book.

2 mins in & i cant listen to this! The cacophony of rapid spec/ sound F/X, are so irrelevant & the Narrator hasnt the command of Storytelling to overrule the background prattling! I cant decide if hes trying to copy the great Vincent Price or some thespian of the Victorian Theatre Anyway sorry to say, this poor chap is ineffectual & the whole presentation is a mish mash of Nothingness.. To do this to the brilliant author Clive Barker is sacrilege! Cheers 🇬🇧👧

Where is the entire book. I bought it back when it first came out many years ago. It was an imaginary tour de force. But it gave off an evil foreboding spirit that rarely spooked me like the Exorcist did. When reading that book alone in an isolated forest cabin in East Texas. But i must admit from time to time the Damnation Game did render me spooked to a point. The physical horror was unfathomable in its description. Clive Barker living within the lgbtq community tends towards the bizarre anyway. So much goes on thats perverse beyond most people's imagination. I know. I've talked seriously to some homosexuals about what goes on in their sex obsessed world. Non judgemental, but more like a reporter gathering info. Though some of the info is garnered in secret. If i typed what I've heard and even sometimes seen I'd break my word with the homosexuals i promised I'd never tell. But in the Damnation Game what Clive writes like floating in excrement is symbolic of many of their acts. As* holes bored out to the size of basketballs. Murders committed without report. Cannibalistic behavior unknown to the world and if truthfully reported laughed at and the reporter mocked and scorned into silence. The leaders, those over everyone and everything though unknown. Conduct and sometimes participate in the most ungodly obscene perverse and murderous activities, plays and recreational goings on that would terrify, sicken and cause most who witness such things to attempt to flee.

Your crucifix symbolizes Pallid incompetence hanging on a tree. It seems likely your ramblings are defense mechanism for suppressed memories from your church's youth group. That being said, If you do write a novel about your "investigation" into cannibalistic homosexuals, their sexual depravity and basketball sized prolapsed anus', I will order a signed a copy. Also, yes this Audiobook is heavily abridged
