In all seriousness… people are aiming their criticism, praise or advice your way, not realizing your music is so good BECAUSE you don’t care what we think anymore. You’re going to write and sing what you want. You’ve been there, done that about trying to please people and get famous. I hope you’ll keep sharing your journey and sing stuff I may hate. The reason why people who love trump, hate capitalism, smoke weed, are truly Christian, drop f-bombs all over the place, shop made from China, run barefoot in a tiny cabin they’ve built off grid all love you are not because you’re singing 100% what they agree with, we’re attracted to you being REAL in a world growing increasingly more fake. Your comment section is full of the biggest variety in an audience I’ve seen in a long time. Continue being real- especially with yourself. Shoot, I gave advice too.

From Fort Smith- I feel like you’re singing what my eyes witness and watched growing up. So any Arkansans have identified with the ruling class- turning on their fellow working class, talking down on other workers- I’ve seen a lot of people forget where they came from (EBT card, HUD, trailer parks) because they make 30k - year for the first time in their life. Meanwhile our governor taking her friend on plane rides and watching the Super Bowl while conservatives think free lunches are c0mmunism and 1/3 of the state is unsure where their next meal will come from. The corruption happens in front of our eyes but people would rather stay silent than stir the pot.

@@nickoliver3523 I suppose if you want to say it’s not as good as the best Bob ever wrote (although blowing in the wind specifically is wildly overrated and ironically ripped off folk song), sure no argument there. I guess my point is if this was in the catalog of Dylan, lyrically it would not stick out like a sore thumb, save the fact that Dylan was a voice for a generation of future nimby collage kids out if touch with much of the country let alone the rest of the world.
@bveracka

@@Som3th1ngSom3th1ngblahblahblah That's a damn good take on Dylan and Boomers compared to young-ish people today. Millennials and older Zoomers are almost the polar opposite of the Boomers. I loved your line; "future generation of NIMBY college kids". It's true though, as they were out of touch, and we are almost overly _in touch_ with the ills of the nation and the world at large because the internet has globalized us and feeds us so much info. ...anyways... It's almost too easy to compare Jesse to Dylan because his voice and lyrical delivery are similar, but they're still very different.
