One note, "Dobryi Cola" at 20:46 is not "kinda like Cola", but literally the original Coca-Cola. The "Dobry" brand belonged to the Coca Cola Company and they simply began to release the original cola, fanta and sprite under the same brand.

Hi, I work in supply management department at one of the largest car repair centers in Russia (and no, not in Moscow, not even close). Situation with spare parts is steadily improving, the 100-300% price hike that we expirienced at the start of 2022 is long gone and prices are somewhat going down. There are still some deficit, especially for british or american models, but they were in a similiar situation even before the SMO. China actually produces many good quality analogues for spare parts, so it's also a plus. Of course a regular person might not be able to buy some parts made for rare brands and models, you need to have a contract with a distribution service to be able to do so. I specialize for trucks and other heavy cars. Volvo parts are usually not so hard to come by, actually. Something like Scania could be on more of an expensive side, but the main problem with that is always the waiting time for your order to arrive. So, the situation is manageble. Been through worse.

I'm from South Africa and I love Russia. I love Russia long time ago when I started understanding what "cold war" was. I realised that usa has deviled Russia in order to gain economic advantage by labelling Russia as an axis of evil and made sure that their media propagate this evil ideology so as to prevent potential investors not to go to Russia and thereafter lied that communism as an economic system is failing. All was a lie from this weasels. China never used slavery to create wealth for itself then used it to develop itself like these evils of the west has done. They created a wealth through slavery to create large wealth reserves to be able to fund their so called capitalist economy which is pseudo economy because it has promoted cheap labour and exploitation of hardworking citizens only to create a few financial elites which ultimately control and influence the government policies to work to their advantage in sustaining their exploitative businesses and they call it democracy where people elect the executives but technically it is not a democracy because citizen elect presidents for instance who have been identified, funded and publicised and advertised these businesses and ultimately these presidents are beholden to them and not the citizens. How dare then do we call such an arrangement a democracy. american citizens and eu's are the most stupid and gullible according to me. Those who are middle class scholars and aggressively promoting usa as a great country upholding it's american dream are actually doing so because this kind of a pseudo system is benefitting them as well, so they are happy with it.

Gasoline/Benzin was 1.50-70, now is 1.20 - 30 euros. - Food prices have been on the increase since the war started, and haven't stopped yet. For comparison, 1 liter of Cow Milk is 1.80 - 2.00 Euro, and 1 loaf of bread is 0.80 - 1.00 Eur for the cheapest brand! 1kg of Chicken Breast is around 8 - 10 euros, and 1kg of Beef is around 12 euros for the cheapest cuts! - Firewood and coal - Firewood is currently around 75-100 euros per cubic meter and reached around 150-160euros in October / November. Russian Donbas coal was 400eur per ton, and now it may be 500+++ euros per ton. - A leffe beer which is 330ml, not the 500ml shown in the video is 1.65euros - Minimum salary in the country is 390.00 Euros and the minimum pension is around 200-250.00 Euros.🥲🥲🥲 "Every Regime will go to great lengths to protect itself if and when it is needed - in the meantime we can play democracy". - Amazing words from your friend Lars!

This was very interesting. It also shows how much people could truly live without if they have the skills and do not think like spoiled kids. My parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc here and in western Europe grew up with not having many things "essential" for life today. Imagine what would happen to many if they didn't have TV, internet, or smartphones. Imagine if they had to walk or ride a bike instead of driving a luxury car. That's nothing. I grew up learning from parents who were born and raised in WWII-occupied Italy. It's good for people to think about what they truly need now because it may not be available in the future.

I work in oil and gas in the southern United States. We are fortunate here in having relatively cheap gasoline (petrol) (about 2.80 to 3.00 USD per gallon in the city, maybe ten or twenty cents cheaper out in the country), but the diesel prices are insane. 5 to 6 USD per gallon easily in the last year, and they have been consistently that high. Gas prices have gone as high as 4 USD or more in the last year - a lot of fluctuations in naphtha crack margins, but diesel isn't going down, both in the US and internationally. I have one colleague with a diesel F-350 truck that has started carpooling with his wife to reduce his fuel expenditures. I don't purchase wood, but grocery prices have increased dramatically, to the point that I have altered a lot of my purchasing patterns. I used to infrequently eat out, but now I practically never do just because of the price. Due to avian flu outbreaks, chicken and eggs are much more expensive - a dozen eggs is between $3.75 and $4.00 for the 'inexpensive' eggs, and chicken is $3 to $4 per pound in bulk. I used to get more canned chicken, but the price has gone up between 50 and 75%, so I have started buying bulk chicken and freezing to reduce the price to something more reasonable. Salmon prices are also definitely up - $10 or $11 per lb. Beef prices are also way up - I bought some halal beef steak a month back for about $10 per lb. It's definitely impacting people. I volunteer at several local food banks, and the demand has been higher for food in the last year. Keep making the great content.

You spend a lot of time on your videos and information. Once again great video. You asked about fuel. We pay $3.68 a gallon which is close to 3 liters in Eastern Washington. It's better price than it was last year. Last year it was $5.25 to $4.63. Unfortunately, I work in the country so I drive 144 kilometers daily round trip 4 days a week and 3 days off. Lately, 5 days a week and two days off. America has a shortage of good workers wanting to work. It adds up to me fueling twice a week costing me $80 USD. You asked what we pay for timber. Well...6500 rubles for that cart is a heck of a deal. We pay $460 for a quarter of that. So probably $1280 USD for that full cart. As for food costs. It's a mess. Everything has gone up in price. Chicken, beef, and eggs are most costly right now. Shortages on certain medications. This has been going on now for almost a year. I cook my own Russian food recipes a friend taught me and I don't eat out much. Refuse to pay the high cost. In the end. You just march on and deal with it.

So it only ends once Russia conquers whole Ukraine (no way to happen) or once Ukraine pushes Russians back to Russia where they belong. Maidan is a great example of how double standards work in practice: the same event in the US is called "January 6 attempted coup", Wikipedia defines it as "January 6 United States Capitol attack", yet the Maidan is somehow a "revolution of conscience". One would need a single fact about that "conscience" to draw their own conscious conculsion on the matter devoid of propaganda: on the Sunday weekend day of February 23, 2014, a day after the democratically elected president had to flee the country saving his life from the hands of armed rioters chasing him, the newly established members of the Ukrainian Parliament had found nothing more pressing and important on their agenda than to repeal existing minority language laws, that were designed to protect the rights of the russian-speaking majority of the eastern part of the country to use their native language officially in all public administration matters. So much for Ukrainian self-determination that easily gets forgotten once the folks demanding it happen to live in the politically inconvenient regions. The events in Crimea had begun four days after that "conscious" move in Kiyv. > It never ceases to amaze me what a high price people will pay to protect their ego! Indeed! Like the egos of those who deprive Ukrainian 18+ male population from their natural right to decide for themselves and leave the country if they don't feel like fighting for the territory they might not get a chance to live on, and like those who are currently catching and sending those unfortunate souls into a war grinder for the political benefits of their self-proclaimed revolutionary leaders.

In Latvia everything got pricier. Electricity is like 200-250% more expensive to some households even 500% or more. Prices for products- it really depends. Some just 20% some 200% or more and some brands just disappeared. Even cat liter price has gone up by 200%. Salaries are the same. If this continues, nothing good will happen to this country. Its quite hard economy wise. Naturally, those who live in towns and capital, have high end salaries will stomach this nicely. Comparison for electricity - I use to pay before war 36 eur or something like that, now I pay almost 90 eur monthly... Minimal salary is 620 eur and many actually receive such income as Latvia is one of poorest countries in Europe. And + taxes... Btw, diesel its like 1.60 - 1.70 eur per liter, but mind you the income! Crazy high prices despite that road tax is not included in price compared to Estonia where even with the tax the gas is cheaper!

Just a some simple facts. Zеlеnsky received 73% of the votes of the people of Ukrаinе in the presidential election because he promised to stop the war in the Donbas.(he promised a lot of course other than that) Many journalists have been killed in Ukrаinе, and all media, except government, are banned? Not one killer, not imprisoned. The one of the first laws that was adopted by those who came as a result of the bloody соup before the "annexation" of Crimеа and the wаr in the Dоnbаs, on Februаry 23, 2014, was a law that abolished the Russiаn language in Ukrаinе, the native language for residents of Crimеа, Dоnbаss and other cities. The Ukrаiniаn regime аmnеstied itself after a bloody military coup, the UN recommended that Ukrаinе repeal this law. Because it interferes with the investigation of crimes on the Маidаn. Who was the sniper who killed people on the Маidаn? In September 2014, a bill on amnesty for war crimes committed during a military operation in the east of the country was submitted to the Rаdа of Ukrаinе. so the military pilot who bombed the children's beach in Zugrеs on August 13, where there were only children, will not be convicted of crimes. For 8 years of "friendship" between Ukrаinе and the US, Ukrаinе is the poorest and most corrupt country in Eurоpе in 2021. With military laboratories and NATO military bases. IMF loans. And nazis national "hero" In 1994, residents of Crimеа went to rallies demanding that the government deal with the Nazis who threaten them. In 2006, residents of Crimеа went to a rally and did not allow NАTO and Ukrаiniаn military exercises in Crimеа. Anyone who dares to doubt that Ukrаinе is a "victim", and NATO just "passed by", and has nothing to do with the war, is "Russiаn propаgаnda" The end.

Ukraine is not a member of nato attacked Russia in Chechnya in 1995, where they fought on the side of international terrorists, they attacked Syria,Ossetia, Serbia. Look how many Ukrainians died there, Who called them there? Why did they attack these countries? Or is it different? Your duplicitous standards are disgusting. Thanks for the update. Goods and services will always find a way to someone who wants to buy it. Be it through other countries or through alternative domestic products, and the prices will adjust accordingly as well on how much the people are willing to pay (or can afford to pay). The people in rural areas are all self-sufficient (more or less). The ones that really suffer are always the people who live from minimum wage to minimum wage and don't possess property.

Sanctions have made quite the opposite effect - since 1991 when America and EU have used russian market to get rid of their goods and made russian economy dependent on their products (russians stopped to produce their own goods, all factories were destroyed or sold at a minimum price) the majority of russian people earned their money on buying abroad and selling to the russian market because its easier and didn't take so much effort. But unexpectedly when we were cut off of all foreign production we have started to rebuild our own production. People who can really work and create say big thanks to sanctions, because it was quite a big kick in the ass to reconstruct our own economy. That is the reason of our economacal growth which surprises western countries so much. By the way, I was politically neutral before the war, but now I really adore Putin and my homeland, I have clearly seen true beauty of my country, the mentality of our people, their strong character, the greatness of our history and culture. So big thanks to sanctions :)))))))

I wouldnt' say they've thrived but they have certainly survived. Also a village in Siberia is a pretty good case study for some of the sanctions. If this little town thousands of miles away from anywhere can get certain products. It means there is literally zero shortage of them in the country.

@KarlReimerGodt

Norway has almost no fossil power plants. Norway's electricity is almost water power only. High electricity prices in Norway are due to the direct current cables to England, Netherlands and Germany; Norway selling electric current to the European market, which pays better prices, than the Norwegian end customer. A Norwegian electricity producer thus sells rather to continental Europe and England, than locally. Putting up more wind energy in an amount of water power generation could help to press down electricity prices, since the water power plants are not the monopolists anymore.

My admirations to babushka Galina and support to your channel, Костя! For informational sake, according to Rosstat inflation in 2022 in Russia reached 12%, the pensions grew 15% year on year (Jan 2022-2023) - this is in public sources, as for indexation of wages it depends on the employer but most people I know tell that their wages grew in line with inflation.
