Watch how students from pre-K - 12th grade can benefit from online occupational therapy. Samples include a sensory motor, fine motor, and adaptive writing activities.
Great ideas!! This is a good OT Teletherapy session. Thank you for sharing 😍

Hi there - the split screen is a built-in feature of our platform, which was designed especially for online therapy. Hope that helps. :)

Can you share what platform you are using, how you were able to share screen and AT writing program you used?

I figured out how to share my screen/ desktop and use a whiteboard on Zoom. You can also give the user on the other end the ability to take over remotely for handwriting instruction, drawing , etc.

@@kathleencoughlin4954 When you screen share there is an option at the top of the screen that says Remote control and you can click on it and give remote control to the other person. You might need to go into settings and make sure you have it turned on. Personally, my students/ clients are not able to figure it out easily. Students younger than grade 3 struggle unless there is an adult helping them. The remote control requires skill in clicking in just the right spot. Annotation is easy and most students can do that as that only requires screen share and not remote control.

What document camera is the OT using in the video to model?
@PresenceLearning
4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for your question. This video was shot in a studio and so we don't know the exact model of the camera. However, we don't recommend any particular webcam. Some of our OTs like wide angle webcams so they have a wider view for movement; the choice of webcams is up to each Provider. Does that help?

Thanks for your question! We start with the built-in webcam, if there is one. For OT services specifically, sometimes we use an external wide-angle camera on both the OT's and student's side, as that is a bit better when doing gross motor activities away from the computer, but not essential. What's more important, if at all possible for both the student and the therapist, is the second camera. Having a second camera, if possible, (at least in the PL platform where a second camera can be integrated), allows for the OT to maintain a view of the student's face, but also have a view of the desktop for any fine motor activities. Does that help?
