As you say Harry a busy but enjoyable time. Let’s hope that it results in a very successful harvest next year! Certainly the sewing part is looking really good. Last year my wife and I took our Goldie for a walk around some fields after paying our annual visit to the Alresford show and we spent some time watching fields being sown I find it fascinating watching how the machinery works having just seen how much they cost at the show! Alas this years show was cancelled and both mu Goldie and I are not well enough to walk around those fields but maybe there will come a time when we can get out again. So good luck to your sowing and I’m looking forward to watching your harvest next year. Thanks for the videos it keeps me in touch when I’m unable to go and see the farms for myself.

Thanks for another interesting update. I live and farm in Southern Sweden and though we seem to have the same climate to farm in, you start your drilling now and we finished our drilling yesterday, friday, and we were a bit late this year. Another thing; We are thinking of buying another telehandler. There are not so many manitous around here, so an indepth review of your manitou would be a very interesting topic. Good luck with the rest of the drilling.

Love the mystery appearing rock. A friend's family used to farm near Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, real boggy land, and they used to get massive lumps of ancient tree trunk emerging on the surface occasionally when they weren't looking. Unlike your rock, they went great in the log burner!

In the late 70s early 80s I stood on deck on the combine filling burlap bags with grain during harvest. Spring arrives and farmer told me, do not touch the red grain seeds without gloves. At my tender age I did what I was told. Fall arrives with beautiful wheat. Without "dressing" no real harvest to worry about.

I love the honesty but it shows how many chemicals go into our food chain., before the table Commercial farming is very different to my day,. In some ways very worrying that to make British farming viable the farmer needs to cut corners by the use of extensive agrochemicals. Still a fascinating watch and as I wrote thank yo7 for the honesty on british farming
