You look and sound very skilled to me. I like all the extra little tips about keeping the string in the proper place and issues with dried glue while being a free hand sort of project. Loved the video.

Hey, thanks for the video and the tip to buy the felt at the $1.00 store!! Here's one back - use a baby wipe to clean up the glue immediately but don't scrub as you will leave fibers from the wipe, just dab and use Huggies, cheaper wipes are really bad for leaving fibers behind. Or you could use a small damp brush and wipe off the brush with the wipe.

So excited to see you do bead embroidery. This is one of my favs. I tear the heck out of needles . I usually cant use them after . they are in a C by the end of my project. If its a big eye needle its twisted as well. I would love to see you add beads to finished the project. I have completed mine to the point of beading around the edge but never adding tails around the edge. I love to do freeform bead embroidery . It is my favorite style.. Thanks for all your tutorials. I will be passing this on to friends .

Hi Nicole, I am so pleased to have found your KZitem videos. After a few years of beadweaving, I am really excited to try my hand at working with bead embroidery using the larger stones. Do you have any suppliers that you prefer when purchasing the stones or cabochons? I don't even know where to begin. A lot of the small supplies are what I have on hand. Even though I have just passed the 60 year mark, I love learning new things. Your tutorials are very easy to understand. Thank you for taking the time to do these for those of us who want to learn.

+Viki B So sorry for such a late response! I just saw this comment. Eep! I buy a lot of my stones on Etsy or through sellers directly on Facebook. There's a few places that I trust, that ship from India, such as Naved International which just has beautiful specimens, and the prices are very reasonable.

Thank you so so much for the tutorial. Do you think you could list in the description or post a link to a blog post giving us a breakdown of supplies and materials including tools? If that's too much work then no worries. I just see one of your amazing tutorials and want to go shopping immediately but I can't remember all the little names. Perhaps you could get an Amazon agreement like other youtubers and post links to items we can purchase through Amazon that helps you out.

Hi Nicole, I really enjoy your videos and especially this project. I wanted to know what the stone is that you are using for this project and what vendor you got them from. I am new at beading and wire wrapping and your video tutorials are great and very easy to follow and understand. Thank you, Sandy

It was just a $3 agate pendant from Etsy. I purchased it ages ago, so sadly can't remember the sellers name.

How would you add a bail to the bezel? I don't want to drill a hole in the stone. Thank You, very enjoyable video
@GoArtYourself

+Dean Takeuchi Usually, to add a bail, I just sew a beaded loop onto the top, or across the back, if I don't want the chain to show. I'll be sure to do a video about that more specifically in the future!

Thank you for sharing. Where can I get ultrasuede? Does Joann's fabric has it?
@GoArtYourself
8 жыл бұрын
+iwonabr As far as I know, you can only purchase it online. However, any soft, but slightly thicker fabric will work as a backing as well. Though it's not called Ultra Suede, you can definitely get a faux suede fabric at JoAnn's that will work just as well, and be nice and soft and comfortable when worn.
