It was also the case in your video about opening up a second front, it wanted to open a third front

Seeing beyond material is by far the biggest obstacle to improvement for us amateurs. Great lesson!

I really like the way Irina starts and ends the videos. Gets straight into it, no shilling, no irrelevant chit chat, no ‘don’t forget to press like and subscribe!’ Just quality videos every time and her numbers are increasing naturally as a result.

This was good. Will have to revisit after my OTB game. Can’t get lost in thought except for the task at hand! 🙌♟.

Very instructive example on deep calculation and positional understanding. But you kept it to close to 10 minutes. Thanks for the lesson.

Awesome vid once again The concept of giving up material is scary for beginners. But Im seeing more and more that to be a better player that fear has to be banished, it else you can never reach certain levels of play

I think this is why I often get 1-3 great moves per game, but few brilliant moves. I am scared of sacrifice unless I can see a mating tactic or relatively immediate material advantage in future.

Hey! I'm doing a series on my channel where I play people of different ratings and show the difference in thought process. Wondering if you'd be up for a rapid game against me to showcase the difference between GM and NM? Thanks!

Please do this Irina, I have enjoyed these before. Plus, colabs with higher subscriber count yters will result in exposure and more subs for you. Just remember that we commented on your channel before you blew up, lol 😅

Second that. It is super instructive to show the thought process of, both sides, especially when both are great content creators, teachers and chess players.
